I don't know about that, but maybe you can try birch plywood, the price is more than regular plywood but the quality is really good. Maybe you know JSK, he used birch plywood.

Why tracing a FULL ligne with the pencil, every time, then using a saw guide or a trimmer guide. One or two POINTS are sufficient.
