One of my fave places in the UK North Wales. Love Porthmadog and Betws-y-Coed and the best ice cream in the world at Cadwaladers in Criccieth. Very jealous!! Glad you had fun though guys. x

Ah, Betws-y-Coed, my grannie's favourite day out when she lived near Chester. she was Welsh by birth. I guess that makes me 1/4 Welsh. Tea & cake was a great way to round of a day out.

Wow. Llyn Ogwen is my go to place on a Sunday morning. 2 hour drive from home, but it's the most beautiful place. Betwys for a coffee on the way as well. The view as you drive down the valley and see the lake on your right is amazing. Love it

How did I miss this one?! I visited Wales with my English mother yrs ago (she vacationed there as a girl, she was from Birmingham) and loved it! We visited Betws-y-coed which I referred to as "Betsy-coed" 😁, beautiful village! You petted one of my favorite sheep breeds, zwartbles, I even have a painting of them from an artist in Cornwall! Loved the episode, brought back wonderful memories of my mom who is gone now. TY ❤️

My favorite thing I did in Wales was the The Chepstow Wassail Mari Lwyd - the most incredible cultural experience I've ever had. They stopped it in 2018 because it outgrew the venue at the Chepstow museum...but I hope it starts up again. Love Wales. Love your content. Thanks for all you do.

Wales is fantastic. Last time I was in Snowdonia was about 35 years ago. However, I do have quite a few CDs of Welsh choirs, so until next time I make it to Wales I will make do with listening to the singing, and imagine I am there! (For you youngsters CDs are little disc shaped memory sticks that have recorded music. A bit like Spotify but better).

I just came back from Conwy and went to hike Snowdon. I agree I overlooked it because I went to see all the other mountains before it. But now I can say that I was surprisingly amazed. It’s so beautiful. In the same level with the Lakes. I also loved Betws-y-coed, such a cute little town.
