We're just WAITING for this bus to blow up 😂 After yet another Custard the bus breakdown we found ourselves an angel in the disguise of a guy names Gordon.
We spent a few days off grid in the van just catching up on work and trying to avoid getting told off by the locals! 😂
But at the end of the week we made friend with an incredible guy called Steve from ‪@countryvanlifeuk‬ - he tells us exactly WHY he does vanlife and what being on the road does for him.

This happened to us on Fraser Island we lost our clutch and it was the master cylinder had a leak unfortunately it was New Year’s Eve so we had to get a part airdropped to the island for us 😂😂 Haha great video guys so glad custard is back on the road

I can empathise with Steve, after a divorce, I’ve been left with a building site for a home, my best friend of 47 years, more of a brother than a friend, was always there for me, but after a short illness, passed away this year, still can’t believe it, we did a 12 mile walk just before Christmas last year, no problems, but by the first week of March this year he was gone, as soon as I can get a job I like, to complete my house I want to travel, good luck to you all

Brilliant, glad you got to Anglesey at last. That wasn’t a little river at Cymyran (the place you stopped overnight near RAF Valley and sensibly moved the ‘buses’) it was the sea channel between Anglesey and Holy Island (the bit that Holyhead is on). Take care around there, ‘cos the current can take you out to sea. South Stack is special, at least to us. My husband’s great great grandfather was one of the lighthouse keepers there back in the late 19th century.

The jets are Hawks, similar to what the Red Arrows fly, built by my employer, and the prop planes are Beechcraft Texan T1 trainers Right that's the nerdy bit out the way. Steve may just have become my inspiration. I plan on retiring soon and I may just have to sell my house and ebay all the contents and live in a van travelling round the country looking for toilets!.
