One of the most remarkable finds (though, technically, it isn't an "artifact"), would be the Turkish Baths. Not ONLY is it in fantastic condition, but the original colors of the tiles can clearly be seen.

It's believed the clock reads between 2:05 and 2:20. The hands on its dial only advance themselves when they receive an electrical signal from the master clock which was located in the chart room. Each signal sent to the clock advanced the minute hand by one minute. Since ships quite regularly cross timezones the masterclock would not send a clock a signal for 1 hour to set the clock backwards. To set it forward it would send 60 electrical currents in succession. There were 48 clocks on the ship and 2 master clocks because this system only worked for up to 25 clocks at a time.

The best item salvaged from the wreak is (in my opinion) the Titanic's whistle from one of the funnels, I expected, when finding out of the whistle was it would be damaged from the funnels collapsing, but no, they still work! Very cool!

Three solid choices, Sam 👍 I would say that the most remarkable discovery on the wreck for me personally was when James Cameron managed to get an ROV into the Turkish Baths in 2005. The state of preservation in the room was incredible. The wood furnishings were all still there, and the wall tiles were still in place with their original colours. Absolutely amazing. 😀 Keep up the great work 👍.

My favorite artefact is Colonel Peuchen's wallet. It fell out of his pocket when he boarded lifeboat 6, and it was found in amazing conditions in 1987. I think there was still money, his calling card and some bus/tramway tickets inside.

I would think the clock stoppped when the Titanic lost power. My favorite is the Turkish Bath and the 1st class dining room windows. Beautiful and haunting they were still intact. Wonder if they still are. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

One of my favorite discoveries is the hat, I forget which stateroom it was found in, but it was in First Class. This hat which was left behind by its owner was still there, right where it was left perfectly preserved, as if waiting for its owner. It was such a cool find. Same with the drinking glass that was left upright. This ship went through a violent destruction and yet this glass was still where it was left. Amazing to know that parts of this ship were obliterated and yet things like these are perfectly preserved, encapsulating the final moments they were seen and used by their owners.

The discovery of the clock on the fire place mantle is certainly among my favorite findings. What might be my personal favorite discovery within the ship is the machinery in the wireless room. It's amazing that we actually have a pretty clear view of the regulator's setting that the wireless operators had it on before they had to end up abandoning it.

Since it was talked about in this video, it is worth mentioning that Kate Winslet revealed not very long ago what is engraved in the ring that Leo gave her. She said in that interview that she had a dream in which she gave Leo a paperweight and he gave her a ring and on both it said : "Where you go, I go too." Leo cried when she told him about that dream and they later went and got real engravings so her ring reads that. I found that extraordinarily amazing since it relates to Isidor& Ida Straus. I appreciate that people are so very curious and interested in everything Titanic related, thank you for all the information and backstory!

the hands are still there, those clocks are well sealed to prevent any kind of moisture from getting in, though I cannot say for sure about its inner workings, the hands are probably still there though, if the glass is still intact, they say we should bring up artifacts of the wreck? we should probably at least get that clock, in addition to the marconi wireless equipment

Fantastic Facts and Finds. 1.) Yes the Liner did truly sink to the bottom of the ocean and no, Aliens had nothing to do with it. 2.) As rightfully reported by survivors it did break apart on the surface. 3.) As reported by those in the life boat, Molly Brown was told by the crewman in charge of the life boat to shut the hell up sit down or she would be thrown overboard.

No but if you guy and check out where the watertight doors were on each decks I think you'd be able to be able to look up if each door was closed, then you could figure out what is in the non closed areas. This ideas has flaws though because some of the doors have fell (I think). But you could try!

And...what about Margeret Brown's jewelry? Having born into poverty and married into eventual wealth, Margeret (Molly Brown, but never went by the name Molly-was a press thing) traveled with most of her jewelry as a kind of security blanket to remind her of where she came from and where she is now. Years ago I did see where a rover reached her stateroom door, but was not able to enter. Has her stateroom since been accessed?

If what Bob Ballard has said about the remains of the passenger s late , is true. Then that changes the decision to keep hands off the Titanic wreck itself. The only thing is there remains deep inside the Titanic. The Titanic is worth recovering her relics if only to protect them from looting and oh yeah they will try even at those depths of the Titanic. If we can research that question then I think we can go deeper into the Titanic wreck carefully of course.

Hi sam can you make a video of the twin towers what does famous New York towers went through the reason why I want you to do a 9/11 video it's because 9/11 is similar to the Titanic tragedy weather twin towers ac similar to the Titanic the reason why is the Titanic hit an iceberg and the twin towers got hit by a plane Titanic broken half and the twin towers collapsed the Titanic broken have to do the strain in that Force and the twin towers collapse because because of the heat of the jet fuel and the force above the impact zone brought the tower down the towers didn't have enough resistance

@@DCEDITZZZ It’s been locked 🔐 since the night the Titanic went down so unless there’s another way to get into the swimming pool complex it will be highly unlikely that we be able to assess its condition. And with the precarious state that the wreck is in I don’t think anyone would want to risk the wreck further deteriorating to the point that we actually speed up its demise.
