I thought about playing the Game of Thrones mod for Warband. I heard it’s good. I have a Roman Empire conversion Mod and another one, that I love, is called Diplomacy Surprise. Diplomacy Surprise basically takes the base game and revives it. It adds more flavor visually and characterly plus it has its own soundtrack. I’ve been playing Diplomacy Surprise for so long, my brain thinks that’s the base game😂

@@crazyhercules9442 Never played Diplomacy Surprise always played Floris myself when I wanted vanilla expanded will check it out, and yes both "A World of Ice and Fire" and "A clash of kings" are great mods. AWOIAF has more features and weapons and expanded siege mechanics but is pretty damn brutal, ACOK doesn't have those features but is more balanced.

Though i'd like to see it for lore reasons too. The different cultures looked amazing, especially the smaller factions, the Singals, the Vanskerry, The Snake Cult, the Heretics, the Mystmountain Raiders, the Ja'Tu, the Knighthood Orders, the Omen Seekers, the Inquisition, Mettenheim expeditions, Barclay conquistadors and of course the Noldor (which oddly enough exist in TLotR too).

I think that would be great. And seeing that PoP lore also don't have man/woman social distinctions, we might actually get mixed gender troops for real instead of mock troops, like how the Friensvain gets their female troops with a different troop tree. But I think we are mostly here for the custom armor. Since I would love to have them again.

@Dozer Mramur Wow man, stop frothing at the mouth. I'll accept you are correct that, somewhere along the line, Taleworlds stated that story wasn't their thing. I wouldn't know cause I'm not enough of a fanboi to have hung on every word they've ever published. However, the story they have so far is weak and largely pointless but it's obvious, to me anyway, that the opportunity is there to have a solid story if they chose to. If they ultimately don't, that's fine because some of the modders will and mods have turned out to be the best use for the excellent base M&B/Bannerlord provide. Still, it's a missed opportunity akin to Games Workshop having no lore for Warhammer and only a bunch of little figurines.

Maybe a Pax Romana campaign mod where you can enlist as a legionary and rise through the ranks through severe grit and determination in battle they give you command of a section of heavy infantry (Like a centurion) while also have training drills and shit like that. That would be an awesome mini game of its own

If you're interested in a legionary's life checkout the literally same named game A legionary's life It is more of reading/turn based Combat game but it makes you engage totally if you let. I really felt just like a simple soldier. And look out for the phalanx!

I can’t wait to burn Lake Town, raze Dale and break in the doors of Erebor and plunder it’s riches with my Loke-Rim soldiers and heavy Cataphracts... You know, if I had a gaming pc... If I did, I’d play all the evil nations of men, Harad, Khand, Rhun, Angmar, Dunland maybe but how the hell would they do the Mûmakil? I can understand how they’d do the Troll just upscale and beef up the model and have every strike throw men down, but Mûmakil? Now that’ll be a feat and if they do it, I’m gonna be an elite Serpent Bowmen, and rise up the ranks until I get to be on the back of the Mûmakil and just shoot people. Can you imagine if it somehow dies and we fall yet you don’t die and now have to make your way to safely among a load of enemy cavalry I’d expect? Oh, god, I hope when Bannerlord comes to consoles, they’ll give consoles mods, but that’s probably the stuff of childhood dreams. *tears*

@@MacbethofGondor I didn’t doubt that, I was just wondering how you were going to animate it and rig it so that it can work, somewhat seamlessly in game, like if it swung it’s head I’m wondering how you’re gonna do the collision for that. Also if you can can you give me a link to see what it looks like? even if it is just a model without textures, although I hate to sound demanding. Everything so far is so perfect and I love the Rhunnic armour, especially the barded horse or Cataphract which frankly looks perfect in my opinion, that would look completely not out of place in the movies. Maybe add a little thin burgundy or red coloured plume, like you see on the vanilla games Cataphract, though I don’t want to act like I know what’s best. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s incredible.

I really hope they're abled to pull off Kingdoms of Arda. I mean, it looks great so far but it's going to be the details that make it or break it. Not only will they have to make new cities but whole new city and town concepts for each race. You can't exactly take an existing in game human village, replace the character skins with new orc skins and expect it to feel appropriate in the world of Tolkien. I'm hopeful though, I'm sure there are a lot of people with great ideas that they'll input into its production. Oh, wouldn't it be cool if all the Goblin towns and cities were like cave systems? You could have small caves, like the bandit hideout ones, for towns and massive Moria sized ones for cities. Oh and inside them it's dark, always night, no torches except the ones you bring with your army.

I have to say that Mods were the entire reason Warband is my most played game of all time (outside of EQ and a few other MMOs that is) and I am really looking forward to seeing what comes out of Bannerlord. Honestly, Mods are what made Warband so great and despite how good the base game is in Bannerlord, I expect the mods will be where the real amazing experiences will be with Bannerlord as well.

The bannerlord module system is really it’s crown jewel, allowing massive remake on the game mechanics with relative ease, and thus I really think there ought to be historical realism mod that stimulates the society and real world interactions, in warband most of the historical mods are somewhat homogenous in terms of campaign mechanics and that takes away a lot of enjoyment.

Third age reforged, a sub-mod for a game called medieval 2 total war. That is a mod which has done a great amount of justice to almost all factions. Great armour designs and fleshed out unit rosters for factions like Khand, Dorwinian, Angmar, all the elven faction and SOOO many more factions. I have high expectations for all the armour designs and factions for this mod as well.

Trolls will be massive Juggernaut Tier 10 units that will, if we are able to pull it off, fling enemy units in to the air Mumakil are planned to house multiple archers in their howdah and are of course the most imba thing to roam Middle-earths battlefields We will see about their size though.

Well, did you know divide and conquer? First they was a submod of third age, now they are a standalone mod who surpass third age. There is more faction, unit and more script. You want to play dwarves of the blue mountain? Well you can, theyr is also a script that can corrupt these guy to sauron. Maybe you want to play heavy knight with heavy armor but you bored of the rohan? Well there is Dol amroth, trust me the swan knight are incredible. Do you know the variag of khand? These are badies just to the south east of mordor, you can choose betwin side with the blue wizard (become a good guys) or stay with sauron (stay a bad guy). There is much more script and much more faction whos is unique to this mod.

KoA will feature a story mode, in the "Sauron gets the ring" campaign you will likely be able to play as him Since it is planned to use a LEGO-type character pointbuy system and replaying with any character you most likely will be able to play him in other scenarios as well.

I've never played a Star Wars Mount and Blade mod and I'm not sure how this one is going to work. Obviously a large part of Star Wars is space and traveling between planets so how would they make that happen? I suppose they could write storylines about particular conflicts on particular planets then focus on the ground fighting skins and mechanics but I feel that that will fall short of being "Star Wars". I hope they'll be abled to make the needed space travel/fighting mechanics but I imagine that's a job larger than any mod has been so far. Perhaps they'll make space travel like water ship sailing that we've seen previously. Space fighting is a more difficult matter though.

I mean, it's better than nothing but I don't think I could immerse myself very far into that without the addition of some sort of space ship to ship conflict. Perhaps they could have an extensive ship upgrade system which would allow you to add turrets and other weapons to your ship that you could then use in battle before a boarding ground fight began.

@@wingfootmcnova9130 Yeah, basically when you fight in space you fight in a hanger indicated you boarded their ship or they boarded yours, on planets they would have their own maps for you to immerse yourself in. But yeah space battle isn't that immersive for the mod, your ship is like a horse, you cant fight before going to battle with turrets and stuff, but who knows, bannerlord may add something like this where you can fight with ships before a ground fight, good idea and hopefully the mod makers have something like this in mind.

This one seems quite new, I really hope that his team will grow and also implement more than just battles, but some Witcher mechanics like monsters,contracts etc using Bannerlord possibilities. So kind of KoA but set in the world of the Witcher. I only heard of one mod that has been announced before the Bannerlord EA and abandoned than.
