These are great! I also love your conversational style not the sing song voice many others adopt. Great job!!!

I love artichokes and you have two wonderful recipes with them. And I've been wanting to use the two cans of jackfruit I bought from Trader Joes, so this will get me going. I was practically drooling watching this video and darn, you must have heard this before, Shalva, you could be a model and you have such a lovely personality .. so endearing and natural!

Put a wet towel over your cutting board and iron it or soak your board in hot water for a few hours or overnight, then set it under a bunch of weight or clamp it to a straight board until it’s dry 👍

finally a use for those 3 and 5 pound weights we've hung onto over the years! 😂

Thanks for the nice Vitamix videos. I just purchased an a2500, and stumbled onto your stream. The only thing I've made so far is the pickled onions. I have kept a wooden cutting board for year's. As for yours...the curl always goes upwards. Wet both sides(always wet both sides),and flip it over so the curl goes downwards. The natural pressure of gravity will straighten it out perfectly. You may need to do this several times. Once it flattens out. After washing it you will need to stand it vertical. Until it is dry. Once dry you can lay it down flat again.

I have been jack fruit pork sandwiches myself, only I use my Vitamix with processor with the S blade, and I do one can at a time. I also then put it in my pressure cooker with the sauce and some chopped onion, and let it cook for 15 minutes. You don’t get the crisp edges on the pulled jack fruit, but it’s an easy, dump & cook recipe, -so to speak. p.s. Don’t know how I came up with this idea, but I even throw in a couple drained cans of french style beans into to the pressure cooker, with the shredded jack fruit, spices & barbecue sauce. It tastes great and adds a little surprising extra zing taste. Thanks for the idea too about using your nacho cheese sauce as a topping over pulled jack fruit barbecue sandwiches/sliders! ….6:01pm (same day) I typed this post, I fixed several typos in the post that my autocorrect incorrectly typed.

I've actually never eaten artichoke but I'm going to try the dip. I'm going to try the cheese also. I've only made cheese using agar-agar. One observation, you should have shaken the apple cider vinegar. Also I'm sure you must know that you can chop the onions in the Vitamix, it works great.

Good call on chopping the onions, especially for the artichoke dip where they don’t need to be perfectly chopped. The artichoke dip is a winner- the Queso on the sliders is our most famous recipe. Thanks for watching

How to fix a warped cutting board, and I use this in my own home. Take a cap from a product you’re done with, like from a seasoning bottle or salad dressing (you get the drift), and place it under the corner that’s warped up a bit. If it’s a slight warpage, use the top of a can that you’ve taken off with a can opener, assuming you use a can opener that actually lifts up & removes the can top(this no sharp edges, versus a traditional can opener that actually cuts the can top and leaves a sharp edge on the lid). I use a pampered chef can opener (love it). I have a big cutting board on my countertop that has a slight warpage, and in a one end I have under the corner, the top of a can, and under the other corner I have a small lid top, like from a seasoning container. It works great, and you don’t even see the lids under the cutting board. Let me know how this works for you!

7 Tbls is 3.5 oz so it's just under a 1/4 of a cup.

Turn your warped board over

My Alexa says 7 tblsp is 0.4375 cups. So, the recipe is oddly using one tablespoon less than half a cup.

The avocodo statistic is no where near funny. Thats dangerous. Your way of using with one hand is the better way!
