This is a prompt to all of us to remember that as Americans, we are used to relying on regulatory government consumer protections that aren’t in place or enforced the way they once were. In the case of inexperienced drivers and cars, we need to never ever rely on advertising and publicity for our automobile purchases and driving decisions. Just because a car is available for purchase does not mean it has been vetted, safety tested or subjected to quality controls. Allowing SUV commercials or publicity campaigns on social media to influence our car purchases and driving decisions means we are relying only on information paid for by the people who will profit from our purchase. They have no way of knowing what is best for each consumer and often do not care. Sad and terribly tragic. As a parent of 3 all around this same age I can only imagine agonizing grief the families must be experiencing.

Just a reminder for those unable to think for themselves, far more people are killed by government "regulations" called wars. Every war starts with some "expert" politician thinking they know best.

those things have cameras, footage of the crash is probably in someone's cloud account.

Everyone knows that money, irresponsible parents and useless children cause this kind of thing. I wanted to see what no one talks about, and that's what if this car had hit another car and killed another family. Who else would pay for the irresponsibility? A street with a stop sign, less than a quarter mile, a hill in the middle, a curve at 3 in the morning. 4 animals can do this to a tree. If it were down here in Oakland, they would say it's the blacks, the drugs, the police who don't do anything. The entire Bay Area is really a time bomb with time to explode. Another animal ran a red light and hit my car, which dropped the engine and transmission to the ground here in Oakland. It didn't have a drive, a salvage car with no license plate and no insurance. Guess who lost out? Neither the police nor the lawyer wanted to know about my problem, even though I had a video in hand showing the entire accident, I lost out. Now the best part is that my insurance has gone up by an extra $95.

You just can’t afford. And no one told you to look. Mind your own and look at the road. Stop staring at any Tesla coz envy is inevitable. 😅

@ “Mind your own” is advice you should have taken. FYI: Envy and pity aren’t the same thing.

Are you afraid of technology or you’re just a hater who cannot appreciate a tech car? Either way, who is the CEO of your car maker? You probably don’t know, not famous at all. 😅

Those teslas record each time someone gets behind the wheel to drive. They should look at the footage fairly easily to see how fast they were driving.
