3 Layer Gelli Printing with the Brother ScanNCut

This is a video tutorial that uses the Brother ScanNCut (amzn.to/3vqDHMU) to create masks and a stencil from a drawing. The masks and stencil are then used to create a 3-layer Gelli Print.

Very cool! SO bummed cuz I ordered the Scan and Cut early, way before HSN announced it was sold out, received the confirmation email only to receive another email the next day, apologizing, saying they over sold it and were sold out :( Now I want it more than ever! lol

Thanks for showing us the ScanNCut. Can you put the plastic stencil paper you use to hand cut stencils in this machine? O- sorry- guess I can go to the website for that answer. There are a few of these type machines on the market. Do you think this is the best all around one? I don't want to do stencils by hand anymore. Much quicker with a machine- and I'm lazy......hehe BTW- I took your gelli class- worth every penny.

And I calculated that if I bought 28 Stencil Girl stencils it would pay for itself & I probably have a total of theres & many others that would have paid for the machine! My problem is I want a new Mac Book Pro- I have a 7-8 yr. old Mac I love but it is at it's limits. And I want an iPhone and an iPod for music. I have an old something that I can no longer update or add music too so I have to find music on the small TV I have in my art studio and it isn't what I want but at least it is music!

Patti- $400! yikes- but is is pretty much a computer/scanner and my HP laser printer was close to that. I want one for cutting my personally designed stencils. I can't see where it says you can cut stencil product but if it can cut chip board I think the thin stencil matl. will work. I know the sheet protectors would probably work but I have lots of stencil plastic that is much more durable to use. I'm getting lazy and my elbow is messed up right now so cutting with an Exacto is not very easy!

Julie I have been looking at the scanNcut with the view of using as a Thermofax type screen I cannot afford a real Thermofax but wonder if this machine could be used as a better than fair alternative - I would image that you would know if anyone would. Apreicate your imput Leyla
