1.) Curated care: skin care routine, body routine. Morning and evening. Exfoliate, address, figure out what works Your body is a temple You are important You have a purpose New skin, new life. Take 2 showers a day 2.) emotional balance: U r responsibile and you need to manage your feelings Develop emotional strategies Spend time with yourself Write down your feelings You could cry, get it out Try doing it alone that's why you have God Meditate: time to pray and hear from God There's no reason why you should use your physical agression. emotions are temporary and they're a beautiful thing to feel. Allow feelings to come and go. 3.) Watch your mouth How you talk about yourself. Dont be negative. Never say " my voice is ugly, my teeth are ugly" instead say "im working on being more patient " and "im working on loving myself" rewire the way you see yourself

The 2 showers a day is big in Ghanaian households. I was shocked when I found out that two showers a day isn't the norm for everyone. Personally I like to shower in the morning before I go anywhere so i feel fresh and awake. The night time shower is the most necessary because you have been out and about all day, sweating, etc and I personally cannot sleep unless i have showered!

I think it makes a lot of sense in hot or humid climates! :) However, I live in Scandinavia, where it is generally colder, and we are taught to shower every morning, and after exercise. Since it is so cold, you don't sweat as much, as you would in a warmer country, so one is enough, unless you work out. :) And most people work out 2-4 times a week, so not every day.

I only realize recently, being from the Caribbean, that taking two showers isn’t a regular thing. If you’re from a cold climate I can understand but living in the tropics or during the summer.. please take two baths. Also being from a water scarce country, you don’t need to use a gallon of water to bathe. You can even bathe with a bucket if you wanna be extra conservative so this high water bill thing isn’t making much sense to me unless the rates are absolutely ridiculous.

Water needs structure (wood energy) to go somewhere... like a creek needs land, like water can make electricity when channeled with structure... wood needs water, like a tree needs rain to live, like a boat needs ocean to move and travel 🌊 & 🌲 I think are great replacement terms for femininity because we actually each need some of the others in ourselves just to function and be happy... and all of us will have different percentages and kinda of each. It’s a way a man can feel soft and kind without feeling “feminine” if he doesn’t want to. And it’s a way that feminine can be assertive and successful without feeling “masculine” if she doesn’t want to. Gender is nothing but a sexist construct. Each person should be allowed to be who they were Created to be and the urges given to them by Creator int eh body they were born in!!! Sex is a fact of DNA but gender roles are just sexist norms that keep humanity in boxes and limitations they weren’t by nature and their own evolution to have. So men can feel like men in moments of water energy... and feel connected in that polarity of water when they are in their wood energy and women can feel like women when they are in wood energy and love the polarity of wood when they are in their water. When we say the term transgender, it’s just an error from the legacy of psychology cementing the word “gender “ from established societal sexist norms (that came from the negative and really sick parts of religion... the Newton-ization of human qualities. We are all male and female... when we change the word man to mean something other than the sex MALE, we are changing the definition of every man into sexist stereotypes and visa versa. As a psychologist, wondering what you think of this? Linguistically, it allows men and women to be in the way of being they were born and their God-given gifts of urges, talents followed and developed, without changing into sexist stereotypes... why loving behaviors are often considered “feminine” for example, men will continue to be violent. That how powerful I think ideas about sex are. The diminishment of women has led to the diminishment of the qualities women are assigned through the sexist idea of gender... the diminishment of those values had led to the diminishment of love new peace and care on this planet! What men can shame, they know they can control, and sex is a powerful force. So there’s a desire diminishment “feminine” qualities for sex control. If linguistically, it were changed to water and wood... and everyone knew we all have some of both qualities, people varying in degree of water and wood qualities, like a Kinsey scale, but for feminine qualities now without the sexist assignment-so water instead of fem and wood instead of masc. Water and wood qualities are EQUAL IN RESPECT 💙 not exact but complimentary in their polarity. And just like there are positive and negative expressions of femininity and masculinity, now for water and wood. So, someone may be 30% water and 70% wood and they may be most attracted to the opposite ... it just allows for all the human expression and experience of love and it linguistically breaks us out of a jail out of this nightmare on earth of non-love that manifests itself though language, internal and external and taught through culture, family community and the over culture. I love linguistics and the philosophy/spirituality of linguistics and everything’s a mess between men and women and so everything’s a mess on earth... and I think it is created with the false understandings that started in our languages and then religions and then everything. Since you’re a doctor (I have no degree) if you’ve read this, if you feel inclined, I’d love you to hear your thoughts on this. Sorry if I went on too long 😂 I kind of got on some thoughts tonight and thought even if no one read this, I want to type it just to screen shot it for myself!!! :) new to your channel, love your soft and wise content 💛

*correction for above-we are all male OR female (not and female, as I accidentally wrote) ... but we all do naturally have a mix of masculine and feminine qualities-so it’s really wrongly named because a man doesn’t need to feel like less of a man when in water ... because he’s in water but he’s in man water and he’s still a man and a woman can feel great in her own wood energy, guiding her own water, and feeling still, 100 woman 💚

Love that metaphor. Thoughts, spoken or internal, create highways, grooves in your mind that connect all over the place in your world, your life and their effects snowball by how people who surround you react to them. Drive lovely cars (thought packets) in your mind ladies! If you have to ditch bad cars, do it all the way, like she said!!! Those new pathways with new cars will create NEW highways, new connections and new pathways! You have to be very conscious when creating new highways, new grooves with your better car... because out of habit you may find yourself out on an old highway just because the grooves are deeper, so it’s more automatic. And be on guard when you’re in a funk or someone triggers you, and somehow you find yourself in a terrible car on a bad highway, remember, those old lies took you NOWHERE! In time, the new cars (beneficial, loving thoughts) will create deeper and deeper grooves and you can drive all the way to a new life and an evolving and happier YOU!!! No shame for the old thoughts, old grooves either. They were never “you.” Just toxic patterns. As we evolve, we can thank the lessons and the love and leave the rest behind... and help all our sisters!!!! 💜🌈❤️
