Little by little, as a black woman overseas, I'm trying to learn from other black women around the globe but what strikes me is our cultural differences with black American women. We sees beauty so differently. Here in my country, we have beauty supplies hairdressers who help you to find the best hairstyles to shape your faces and when you find that, you keep it. While when I was in the USA, it's all about getting the hair done and it's only for a short time. Secondly the clothes, we have tv shows that tells and show women of different ethnicities what to war and what not, how to make up and what not. For example orange is naturally fir black women and should be included. Now, extensions, here extensions are very discreet unless you are a prostitude , but colored extension is very limited. Nails are everything but must be naturally looking and short. Having long nails are seen as not feminine and dirty.

Ah once again, a channel that actually talks about feminine healing/identity and not just how to get a affluent man which a lot of feminine channels have truly become. I truly hope I can find more feminine channels like this one because this is truly a gem. I am still healing so I know it will take time but this is a journey I am willing to gradually take.

I used to be ashamed of being beautiful.... I could tell it made a lot of other women jealous if I may say, that’s when I started to feel uncomfortable and dim down my own light. I made some changes after my mum passed away and I’m still growing and healing but I can finally say I’m living in my light and as long as I’m pleasing God I don’t feel the need to please others anymore
@MissFunnyBunneh

If I may be honest. As someone that is only average (I was told that by a guy that I liked as well). I don't hate pretty girls, I just feel jealous, sad and somewhat angry that people treat pretty girls differently. Eg. this one guy ignored me and treated me poorly and when a pretty girl came along, she got treated like a queen. Stuff like that hurts and just like you didn't ask to be pretty, I didn't ask to be average or ugly. It is a tough journey for me, but I'm getting better :) You do you! Never let your light dim :) someone like me might just need you....
@lionesstemple6185

@@MissFunnyBunneh oh hun no, first of all beauty begins from the inside a beautiful heart shines through. Obviously the man you were with didn’t know your value which is sad but don’t let that be you love. You are beautiful because you are a reflection of God let’s start of there. Then secondly beauty isn’t just having a beautiful face. You can have a pretty face and have bad attitude which takes away from your pretty face. To me Your outside is merely an reflection from your heart and attitude. As long as your beautiful in the inside and you give out a calming, feminine energy you will be the most beautiful in the room. PS: i think as Women we need to learn that another woman’s beauty doesn’t take anything away from ours❤️ love and light beauty 🤍

@missfunnybunneh I really understand your struggle. Though my situation is not exactly like yours but I used to struggle too nonetheless. I’m quite pretty but I was always afraid and even intimidated to be around other pretty women because I felt like I won’t be the only star in the room anymore. I struggled with wanting the center of attention to be on me all the time. Then my Savior Jesus Christ did an amazing transformation in my soul. I started by His grace to realize that, people’s view on what’s beautiful is corrupted. I started to realize that God doesn’t attach importance to prettiness. He didn’t give one of His most beloved Apostles “Paul” prettiness(physical attractiveness) , even His beloved Son Jesus Christ was not beautiful to look at (Isaiah 53:2). Then as I got to realize this by His grace, my mindset began to change. I also began to realize that Truly Godly men will also know what I know about outer beauty because the LORD lovingly instructs His children so that they will not be deceived. So that means they will not put such a great value on outward appearance because they will know that charm is deceitful and beauty is vain but a woman that fears the LORD shall be praised. They will also know that beauty doesn’t last, it will eventually fade with age and these are the type of men that I pay attention to and not ungodly men. I don’t want a man that comes close to me only because of what I look like because such a man is a very shallow minded man. Anyone that treats and judges people by their outward appearance is Avery shallow minded person. I’ve also come to realize that every one has a measure of prettiness in varying amounts, it’s just like the parable of the talents, the other was given 5, the other 4 , the three etc. and these people didn’t chose their talents, they were all given by the master to make do with what they’ve been given. Whether I’ve been given 5, 4,3,2 or 1, it doesn’t matter. God is a generous, and a very thoughtful giver. Before He gave me by own measure of beauty, he knew that’s what best for me. Probably if he gave me more I wouldn’t have been able to handle it. Beauty can sometimes be a snare. It causes Pride, selfishness, narcissism etc. so I make do with what God has blessed me with. I take care of my health and personal hygiene. I would be like the man with the 1 talent who buried his if I said “God you didn’t give me 4 or 5 so I will not use the 1 you gave me” that’s ingratitude and selfishness of the highest and God HATES IT. So knowing this I pray to God every single day before I leave my house for God to help me to be content with the measure of beauty he has given me and to not be covetous of that of others. The problem is that people try to get rid of jealousy and envy on their own might. The truth is you can’t! None of us can! It’s only God that can uproot that cancer out of us. I’ve also been praying that God should keep me detached from my looks, he should help me not to place so value on what I look like and what others look like. Now if I go to a place and people compliment for my looks, I accept the compliment and say thank you but I don’t take it to heart or let it get to my head, I take it with a pinch of salt. If l also go to a place and then there are other pretty people, I pray silently for grace and then I look at them as creatures of God, I don’t idolize them because they didn’t create themselves, their beauty is a gift from God and their outer appearance is only a shell, the real person is what’s behind the mask and I treat them as everyone else, I also compliment their beauty. If people tend to show them more favors, I’m content with that because human favor means nothing, it’s the favor of God that I strive for not a man’s favor. And I also know that that’s not the kind of men I want because a truly godly man will treat everyone equally because the Bible commands that and is against favoritism. I don’t become envious or jealous of them but if the feelings of jealousy starts to rise, I don’t let them grow, I take it to the LORD immediately in silent prayer. It’s only God that help and change your mindset my dear. Really learn to depend on Him and he’ll help you. I used to struggle a lot but today I can say that I am happy and content with who God made me. I don’t let the opinion of others get to me. I personalize my beauty. God has given me a healthy self esteem and confidence. It can only be God. I hope this helps Sorry about the typos.

I absolutely love the tone and message of this video. Being yourself in a world that is constantly watching, comparing and expressing opinion is hard, but it's also a duty that we can't miss as women, or just as human beings. Unique like diamonds.

I just answer I am a child of God! I am happy alone. My destiny is to be alone independent and isolated. The world should not talk to me or like me. Taking care of myself to be not bothered and feeling great smiling. No friends no relationships just internal happiness! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗. Energy not healthy is not needed. I love it. This video rocks!

I was thinking since I saw you that you favored Brandy, lol. But you’re right about comparing yourself to people, I only broke away from that recently, and I’m in my thirties! Working on my relationship with the LORD is what broke me out of that mindset, because He made me realize that I didn’t have to be those people to be special and worthy, which was the reason I attached myself to those personalities, because I didn’t think I was good enough as just me.
