I'm actually really surprised everyone wants Audio Scrubbing off! Believe it or not, I loaded up my timeline recently and I started panicking when I couldn't hear it and rushed to turn it back on! Maybe I'm just weird, but I can't imagine the difficulty syncing up Audio without it on. Great video! I had no idea about Smooth Scrolling and it just saved my life.

There are some PCs that are not good as you think it is (low spec PCs). It might cause lag or something, so it has to be more than one opt.

mykonomen I prefer page scrolling. Also no scroll ain't bad too. I sometimes let it play, set some effect, go to the next, there it's good to be able to push the timeline on my own

i use audio scrubbing turned on to get audio cues when there are beats to cut at rather than always looking at the timeline for the waveform spike.

great tips! btw if you press SHIFT + S you can switch audio scrubbing on and off. saves you keep having to go to preferences all the time! as annoying as it is, it sometimes helps with finding a beat etc. 🤙🏻

Can't agree with the first two. Smooth scroll is terrible when you want to to make slight changes while playing your timeline. And how annoying audio scrubbing may be, it is really handy for cutting audio.

Final Cut is better. A baby can learn Final Cut, why would I spend time learning P Pro when Final Cut exist.

Many people love final cut and it’s a great tool. All tools are different and have different pros and cons. We personally prefer the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. But we wish you the best in your editing projects!
