Does overstructured element have an effect on the result?

Yes. Overstructure elements affect the test in the case of PET. Some times less, and the test worked well. Sometime not.

Can PIT do at pile on existing building?

In some cases, the pulse-echo test method, which the PET is based on, was not designed for this case. None the less, in some cases, it can yield good results
