I recommend using a needle to go between the fibres to separate the vertical ones cuz its way easier than using the tweezers. Anyway great video!

i wouldn't really recommend it. if you have a pair of jeggings you are fine acidently messing up go ahead. denim is a sturdier material so when its ripped it will still keep it's shape, jeggings however may fray and become very loose.

I did it with stretchy skinny jeans and it worked out perfectly, not sure if they have spandex in them though. I guess you could give it a try if you don't use the jeans anyways :)
