Gentle correction: per dining etiquette, one should always cut and eat food on the plate (such as the langoustine) one piece at a time, not cutting it all all at once before eating.

Sorry but I think French cuisine has stagnated while others have moved ahead as I discovered having returned recently from France, the food was a huge disappointment. This 3* restaurant is frankly serving pretty bog standard fine dining fare,all the dishes looking similar to many other establishments featured on KZbin. Surely serving a single asparagus stalk on a plate is taking things too far?😅 This meal is definitely not worth almost €500 excluding drinks!
