@@tommcdaniel9554 ya but this wasn’t just a loss this was one if the most painful losses a coach can take. Playing your rival ,being ranked #3 in the country and having one of the best defenses in the league. It really makes me wonder where Michigan could be right now if they didn’t turn the ball over and pulled this one out. Michigan likely woulda beat Wisconsin and been in the playoff and I think faired a little better than osu against Clemson. The harbaugh narrative that he couldn’t beat osu or win the big ten wouldn’t be there and the surge of momentum he came in with woulda continued.
@randym63214 жыл бұрын
Butterfly effect, this game was the beginning of the end. Think about how people were starting to see Michigan going into this game. 10-1 #3 in the country. You lost this game, then players didn’t real seem to care in the Orange Bowl. Couple players sat out and that helped begin flipping of narratives, recruits, a possible conference championship and playoffs. Seems like the team know they’re going to underachieve every year now they don’t seem to have the same aggressiveness as when Harbaugh first came. I don’t think the last two years of teams could beat 2015 or 2016 teams, those were Hokes players.

Michael Dillon Michigan wins that game 8 times out of 10 and blows them out at a neutral field. Did you see Ohio state get exposed by Clemson. They did by Michigan and Ohio state got lucky with 2 interceptions(one a pick six, one a pick and then a bunch of stupid penalties to put them at the goal line) by a injured quarterback. Michigan had control the whole game

Cade is the better option
@jacobkatz29212 жыл бұрын
@@AARONSPLANET No. He's the "safer" option. But he's not dynamic. I like the idea of having JJ take more of a starting role, and have it more even. I'd like to see half and half. That kind of thing can really keep opponents on their heels. Having to deal with one good QB is hard enough. But then having to deal with a good one, and a great one, and then factor in the fact that the adjustment would need to be on the spot and quickly, you have a really dangerous duo.

@Inferno Yeah but if Michigan didn't turn the ball over, they would have won regardless of the two missed field goals. Then they would have made the CFP, not gotten exposed by Clemson, possibly beaten them and then who knows. Michigan wouldn't be labled as chokers and Harbaugh's passion would still be there. @@V_JJ I don't think anyone could prove either way. It was one of those calls where you just have to live with the call on the field. Michigan fans were sour not because of the spot but there was a lot of fishy things going on with calls against Michigan the whole game. That being said anytime when you throw 3 interceptions you are shooting yourself in the foot. What sucks is that was the last year the talent gap in the game was similar. Now the gap is huge.
@Zachhwilliamssssss4 жыл бұрын
Victors Valiant Michigan proved they were the better team. Michigan threw a pick six by a quarterback who was injured, and another pick that put Ohio state at the goal line because of those dumb penalties. Michigan wins that game 7 out of 10 and 9 out of 10 of it was at the big house. Ohio state also had a huge crowd and major home field advantage
