Awesome. Yes. Often have used Dead Horse Loop to climb out and have a fun trail ride that leads out to 3 Mile Smile. I also often connect to White Rhino on the way down from the bottom of Badger Pass to pass under the highway up higher and finish coming down Latenight to the parking area. Aloha!

There is lift operated bike park up in Mount Charleston now. You should check it out, nice flowy trails. There is also some shuttle trails up in the same mountain range.

I just ripped that trail on my Onewheel 5 days ago, smiles for miles for sure! Went up 3 mile which was a bit of carrying the board on the steeps, but that back side flow( dead horse) was so dreamy....epic views as well.

I’m sure it’s on your radar but check out Jackrabbit trails off I-15 headed towards Logandale ( towards St.George) so good!! Can camp right at the trailhead…3 days in a row and never saw anyone:) Jackrabbit loop is a very well built flow trail 🤙

Cool stuff! I haven't ridden that one some years now. Last time, we rode it starting at Blue Diamond and then up Dead Horse after we crossed the highway. The climb up Satan's Escalator is a true challenge. I came close to cleaning it.

Awesome Ride…… I plan on boondocking and biking on the Lake Mead side. Great place.. Cheers

That side is not good! At least north west corner on government wash. I went there to check it out, paid $25 to get in then left. Out west of Vegas is so much nicer to camp IMO. I’d love to know some other spots on the east side though

@@Sara.Jo. I want to ride Bootleg Canyon… I was planning on Govt. Wash, it’s no good? Thanks for the info
@Sara.Jo.6 ай бұрын
same, that’s what I wanted to ride! But government wash it’s terrible. You can’t even get down to the water..and if you do find a gross marshy spot it’s filled with trash and green slime near the edges. All the sites are just up on a giant sand/rock pit scattered around. I drove over an hour to get there from that other beautiful spot I was in and I left it was so bad. But people were there…I guess it’s an acquired taste

Fyi...if you're riding a trail now (with any suspension), you might riding a trail some one made on a handrail and no front suspension. Lol

Yes I do have strava but I like it private, KZbin is as social-media-y as I’d like to be. But never say never…Maybe in the future I’ll disclose it to everyone and they can follow me.

Hi Sara Jo... what model and year is your Santa Cruz? How do you like it?
@Sara.Jo.6 ай бұрын
It’s a tallboy, carbon, medium. I’m 5’5” and it’s perfectly for me. I do love it and find it good for the type of riding I do…lots of climbing, touring, and also hammering downhill. I don’t really know any different, this is my first full suspension bike. I was interested in trying out the new Pivot Switchblade, I’ve heard good things.
