100% agree Stefan, those 3 mindset are extremely important. If I rank mine, I would say, 1. Self awareness. 2. Life long self learning/discovery and improvement. 3. Delay gratification.

Your channel is different from other “amazon gurus” because it’s not one dimensional. You talk about life principles, not just focusing on money. You are an amazing life coach too!

Stephen James' Top 3 Mindset Shifts 1) Shift from Short-Term to Long-Term thinking: delay your gratification 2) Move from Defensive to Offensive thinking: take more risks, don't play it safe; don't be reactive be proactive 3) Working Smarter not Harder: look for ways or methods or business strategies that allow you to scale (don't trade time for dollars i.e. coaching face to face versus writing a book on coaching) Hey Guys. These are my take-away notes. Dan

I really struggled with learning to work smart. I was a hard worker but quite miserable. I've since gotten better in that arena. The biggest challenge for me is delayed gratification. I used to play video games to cope with the miserable feelings I had of working like a slave and feeling like a servant all of the time. Now I've developed those types of stress coping mechanisms that I am still freeing myself from. Thank you for allowing us to admit the truth and to share our areas of needed improvement.

That was an amazing video! I'm 48 and made many mistakes, poor judgement financially, working foolishly for many years and only now am I beginning to realize what you just spoke of. I wish your video was around 20 years ago. What you said is enlightening and I'm going to have my 14 year old son watch your video as you explain what I'm trying to in a way that is very easy to comprehend and makes sense. But in order to work smart a person either needs experience and wisdom or an education which experience and wisdom is a form of but takes longer to acquire. So I was wondering if you could make a video about education and the part it has played in your success or people you know who got an education and are able to work smart as a direct result of their education. Thank you for your videos and I look forward to many more.

Hi Stefan. Always good advice. Simple and understandable. 100% agree. Today customers are clever. They won’t buy new products if these products are non-unique at all. It takes years - learning competitors, creating, testing and providing smth unique. New entrepreneurs are usually confused because of money. They want to earn now. They don’t want to wait years. However, the level of competition in any directions is huge. There is no space for quick results because you can’t create smth unique and valuable than we have today in a short period of time. Everybody wants to be entrepreneurs because of their luxury cars, houses, etc. These people gained everything by working hard. They are responsible for their teams, customers, shareholders. It’s only one reason why they earn a lot because others trust them. I’m looking forward to watch more good advice. Cheers, Anatolii
