As a mastery 10 yone one trick, this is actually a really good guide for yone, if ur looking into picking him up then this video is 100% worth a watch

A few extra things: Q3: Q3 goes over walls. It also has two hitboxes, being Yone and the wind that knocks up past him. W: W makes his lane phase a lot more tolerable, allowing him to get a shield that helps gain sustain into poke. E: E goes over small walls. E recast makes him momentarily unstoppable and is best to recast when the E kills which is shown by an indicator, when you are about to be cc'ed, and Yone E is best used to dodge cc or spells. Yone E is very similar to Zed R. The only big difference is the approach for repeated damage. R: R can be true combo'ed by using a max range Q3. Items: items 4 and 5 are a lot more conditional. A better combination is Death's Dance and Jak'sho. DD is amazing for anti burst and Jak'sho is really good for extended fights. Wit's End is mainly into armor stackers.

Some other tips: If you need to get to drag pit or krugs you can e over the wall stack your q's, snap back then q3 over the wall. If your really ahead you can build defensive items pretty early and still pump out a lot of damage. Most of the time I go Botrk, IE, Shieldbow into situational defensive items like randuins in heavy ad teams or something like wits end

A tip for yone, is to not instantly use q3 after e, since it’s easy to predict. (Sorry if grammar is bad, english is my second language)

It's zephyr. You can upgrade ur berserker greaves to zephyr after lvl 16.

first :) edit: while i did hope for you to make a yone guide i think nowadays yone is better in top lane than mid lane since he sometimes feels as if there are "too" many counters in mid lane edit 2: no matter how much you guys argue with me regarding my opinion on top or mid i will always say top, yone mid is too hard countered

i disagree strongly. Yones main strength is his gap close which allows him to stick onto squishy targets, on Toplane you have a lot of bruiser champions that want you to engage into them. Yone gets decimated against darius/sett/panth/fiora while even the tricky midlaners can get outplayed as long as you ban Vex

garan,darius,fiora,sett,jax,riven and irelia are champs that are almost always played on top they counter yone and he is better in mid beacuse he can snowball better there mid has around 7% pickrate and top around 5%

@@rageguyyyaa Your enemy can say the same, you lose to yone top because you suck. Infinately poke is only you enemy doesn't know how to deal with it, imagine poke a mundo, malphite, aatrox, garden, the list can still going

shouldnt the all in combo be getting q3 off of minions then e+3rdQ into them and auto and ult then when you q hits so the knock up from q3 combos into ur ult so they cant avoid it

If you know that damage absolutely kills them then definitely, otherwise he does have basically infinite combos!

it depends on the enemy team comp. if they have at least 1-2 tanks, take bork. if theyre all squishes, which is rare, then i suggest kraken. bork is just more consistent damage for higher health enemies and counter scales HP. it definitely helps you if youre behind aswell. since yone is so reliant on damage, picking something that relies on ad stat while behind is not a good idea. picking something that deals percent damage on-hit is much more reliable since you cant predict the future of the game.
