If the game punishes people for getting rammed into a wall and applying "wall collision" penalty then it might as well punish car-to-car contact in a similar manner. As it stands currently the game favourizes rammers and punishes the victims. Absolutely asinine.

I've been reporting rammers which could get them 14 days ban if verified. The "Wall collision" penalty sounds decent

How do you report rammers or cheaters? I have lost so many races (specially in eliminator) against cheaters. How do I know they're cheating? Flying, boosting, things like that. Some may be subtle, for others are blatantly doing so, that's when I know someone is cheating.

I don't know if this applies to all of you but I'm talking according from my experience, i feel like rammers increase by classes like B has less rammer, A has more than B, S1 > A and so on, i think one reason being new players don't really know much about cars and stuff so they just wanna go fast and win, so they hop into S1, S2 and ram their way around but the number of rammers decrease as the classes descend And there's one slight fault in your driving tho, on tight corners you tend to move outside too much which makes the car behind you rush for the open inside, he attacks and at the same time you are too going for the inside which makes you two collide. not saying this happens everytime but it does happen in this vid

Yes proportionally id say higher skilled lobbies tend to be in lower classes. I pretty much exclusively race A and B class, lobbies usually are usually better in my experience. S1 and S2 is not enjoyable imo. In terms of driving style, I usually give players benefit of the doubt when it comes to that kinda thing, which in FH5 maybe isn't the most sensible.

These are the people that have absolutely no skill and shouldn't be playing online whatsoever. FH5 needs to start cracking down on these kids. Ramming too much should put you in a blacklisted lobby with other rammers. That lobby would be a sort of bad sport lobby like GTA 5.

@fireblow6842 There definitely is a learning curve to ramming. You're not wrong at all. It's the kids that have no skill in clean racing that ram constantly that make it annoying. If you want to get back from time to time, the best piece of advice I can give you is to just practice with AI vehicles while using the car you're most comfortable with in online races.

Yea would be nice. Don't get angry, you usually get past these players by turn 1 if your a decent driver so no biggie, and also this was the worst of a couple months of racing, most lobbies were ok

I don't think GTA Online is a good example of your idea. Even with the "Bad Sport" implemented to Free Roam, you would still be bombarded by Orbital Cannons (which is an insta-kill camping weapon in a nutshell) and Oppressor Mark II bullies whilst minding your own business. And you'd get penalized with a Bad Sport warning if you _dare_ to destroy that same Oppressor user.

Nope. Just a theory, but the game us still fresh and there are a lot of players such as those on gamepass who are new/not experienced with racing. They will hopefully move on soon to the next game

I think Forza should make the game where you are automatically ghosted for the entire race that way there's no ramming or hacking I saw a driver yesterday with a car in the class that said 767 d-class when the cars are supposed to be 500 only and he was running people as well

When another player is next to my car I just slow down and let them pass, I trust no one in this game; I don't really care if I don't get into the podium, I just don't want my car be pushed into a tree, to fall from a bridge or worse to be out of the checkpoint, that infuriates me a lot, except when I realize it was an accident which is okay for me, what I just hate is that people doing this on purpose just to gain like 3 seconds of "fame" if they actually get into the podium cause most can't even reach the 4th place.

These folks are so annoying but the good thing is after many, many races against them you can kinda learn how to screw their attempts. From what I've learned: Keeping them on your side is the worst, better to let them take the position then pressure them from behind. They are way more likely to make a mistake either by taking a bad racing line, not braking on time or a mix of the two (the closer you can get the better, will get them nervous about getting overtaken). If you inevitably have one on your side, you can brake when you feel they are about to try and hit you (hope I could elaborate but it´s a "feel" thing you develop after getting to know how rammers drive) and that will cause them to lose time getting back on track, or get them to spin out altogether. You can even bait out their ram attempt by braking when they do to pass them. If you really want to keep the position the best is keeping them right on your tail, if they decide not to brake in a sharp corner they will ghost out past you, if they are closer and try to brake by crashing into you try to use engine braking as well to minimize any wall smashing. Last, if you are in front of the rammer try to defend the inside of the corners, you may have to take a not-so-optimal racing line so you can block them but it should help to avoid corner dive bombers, since you will spend less time at the apex and will increase the chance of them missing the checkpoint if they do so.

Not related to the video but some people are so toxic in this community ex I was playing and hanging out at the main festival and this guy keeps spamming head to head in the forza link in free roam , so I do it to get him to shut up, it’s not very far so I take a I go off-road for two seconds and I win, then the dude messages me and say quote “Punk little cheater” and I’m not letting guy say that so i tell him there are no rules in a head to head free roam race and dude gets so pressed. He leaves me alone for a little and I’m just drag racing and he keeps spamming ur too slow then he message me “you may be good at cheating but you suck at drag racing” mind you this dude was in the funny car drag car. He also say people like me ruin the game. People are assholes for the smallest stuff TLDR guy gets mad when I cut a corner in a head to head free roam race

I expect chaotic racing from an arcade game, but not like this. The penalties are quite unfair. I have also ragequit in online lobbies due to ramming. One time I was in 1st position and 2nd place rammed me into an object right before the finish line, and I snapped. My dad just told me it was a part of racing, and professional drivers do it all the time, but I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that moves like that could be fair. Now I find it funny. Now the idea of ramming being ban worthy seems really unfair. If you want a clean race without being pushed a little, There's custom rules for that. (Ghosting) But if you don't want to do that, I don't think it's fair to ban people because you can't handle a little nudge. I won't deny that the online lobby rules and penalties seem in support of rammers, but even the best forza players do this type of stuff. Racing kinda sucks. That's the way it rolls.

Sounds like your dad has low standards. "A part of racing" my ass. Maybe in NASCAR or like BTCC, but anything reasonably respectful like GT3, Prototypes, or open wheelers and that would not fly. Though to be fair Forza is basically touring cars but worse since any 7 year old can hop on. But yeah don't settle for atrocious behaviour like that, there's cleaner racing out there. You'll always find a bad apple but the whole tree won't be dead like it is here.

Wow, looks bad. Not really doing much of open racing in FH5 cause of the long loading screens like in FH4. Waste minutes of your life just sitting on loading screens or before race starting then getting in the race just to get rammed with a car you always wanted to use and test out against the best. Open games is pretty fun being free for all chasing and stealing crowns ramming encouraged but not good for racing. Racing is apparently a small playground for them and where you race push people off track and checkpoints.

very first corner of video. You were done with the corner but either couldn’t control your car, or chose to ram him on purpose by sliding right into him on the opposite side of the road. Probably set you up for the revenge hits he got on you following that. 00:39, he was on the inside and you shut the door on him. It was either hit you or hit the inside wall. He chose you. 00:44 you went way early on the brakes. No body intentionally hit anybody, but fault is about 50/50. You damn near stopped in the racing line, and he didn’t react quick enough to shoot to the inside (or he was blocked by traffic we can’t see from this view.) He then bumped you out of retaliation, and you did the same in the next corner. You tried to push him back into the dirt instead of staying toward the center on the track. The red bmw when you were in the supra, yea I’ll give you that one. You were driving clean and he was driving like a forza kid. 1:23 you realize the racing line is a suggested fastest route right? You’re not just entitled to take it. If you’re going to dive a corner from the outside, you need to make sure it’s clear. Though I’ll grant that at his speed, he probably would have overshot and y’all would have collided anyway, or maybe you could have swooped behind him as he blew past. Either way, you closed the box on a guy who was established on the inside driving lane. He had nowhere to go but your back fender. The ford gt that said “nice driving”. Y’all were both racing dirty. It looks like he started it, but again, you boxed him in when he wa going a higher speed and established on your inside. There were clearly some bad drivers in this video. Some of the clips were incidental. Some were flat out rammers. Including you.

2:07, I’d argue you shut the door on that guy too. He had traffic on his left, was already door to door with that guy and they were almost touching the inside wall, and you dove down again. You cannot hit the apex when there’s a car on your inside. You are cutting people off and causing just as many wrecks as you are victim of rammers.
