Those tips are really great. They might seem obvious when said but they are so true.

Such great, great advice. My far and away best creative project had exactly these three things. I took the story I wanted to deliver, cut it in half and promised myself I’d deliver Part 1 only. So I had no stress to deliver Part 2 (I actually delivered that anyway, probably because I was so relaxed about the first half). I had checklists in Evernote going on, updated every single day for a month. And at every single moment of the day for that month I knew exactly where I was in the timeline and that timeline was based on me fiddling about and taking twice as long with everything. All of your points in this video put together and, at the end of the day, it was HUGE fun ❤.

Everytime I had a shoot I always watch this video. It's like a toy to a kid having anxiety before taking vaccine shot. Hahaha. Makes me calm before a photoshoot. Very helpful. 💖

Yup, it's the lights in the background that give the whole space a more blueish feel 👍 Good eye!

Good points for sure. I'll try to remember them when I get in a position to really need them. Especially forgetting batteries or my sd card. I have forgotten my card and had to turn around and go back to get it. Not a huge deal, just a pain.

Hello fellow good human!! I have been watching alot of your videos. Not sure if you did this segment but I wanted to get into cinematic video. Great question Mamma Latish! I use Lexar Professional cards. Look for V60 or V90 cards. That's the minimum record speed that you'll want. Lexar 1667x cards are my preference 👍

David, This ? should go in separate email but cannot find a good address for you and don't want to clog up your prof. channel. I'm a beginning YTer. How should I/can I edit down my footage before initial storage. Say I make a 10m GoPro time-lapse that is 2GB in size. I want to use maybe 10-15 seconds of it later in a YT video and I'd rather store only say 30 seconds of this footage (padding on each side) but I don't want to start a YT video, etc. (This could be a month-long project of collecting such footage). What program should I use to edit down this video footage on initial viewing so that I don't end up with huge amounts of stored footage that I will later use 5% of? Many thx for help.

I try to always try to tell my customers a little longer delivery time on a repair than what I think it will take, but it's kind of tricky. If you say to long, they may just want to try someone else and if to short, well, then you get the customer mad because it's taking longer. 121k...BAM !!!
@DavidManningvlog4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! And I think most people error on the side of too short because they want to seal the deal and get the customer. But then it's tough delivering on that promise. You're totally right, it's a funny balance beam to walk!
