Man, it’s the main reason I’ve been leaning into potentially shooting RAW video is purely to have that same white balance flexibility in Premiere that I have in Lightroom. Dreamy🙌

And didn't even use the audio from it🤣 I put it on as a backup because I knew I would be looking down at the iPad a ton and was worried that angle wouldn't pick up well on the overhead mic. But it turned out pretty decent, so I was lav mic-ed up for no reason!

I haven’t come across a lot of videos that focus primarily on Premiere Elements, but I’m sure there’s a ton out there! I haven’t used that program myself, so it would be hard for me to teach, but Premiere Rush is also a really great program that I’ve used and would definitely recommend!

I am getting ready to purchase my first camera I have a budget of around 2000 for the body (mainly used for landscape, long exposure, some wildlife, and weather) have narrowed my choices down too these and wanted some input. yay to people with yellowish teeth ! haha, i used to take the same spot as you, the teeth. But many people don't have pure white teeth, they can be yellowish and turn the white balance green. Or, in some ocassion, teeth can also reflect ligh. And in club, concert, environement with colorfull color, teeth won't be white as well. It is a great tip, but i'd say in 60% of cases, it doesn't work.

For sure dependent on lighting conditions a bit, but even yellowish teeth get you pretty close. Give it a shot on your yellowish teethed friend and then bring things down about 400K and you'll be right in the ballpark👍 If you're in a club with crazy light, you're just out of luck

It sure does! Funny thing is that although we think we all have different skin colors, it's actually all the same color with different shades. So white balance works exactly the same for all skin colors👍

Have you tried using the dropper tool on a neutral gray color in the photo? I have, and it works exactly like using white. :)

The main reason for gray is that sometimes if your white is up around 95% or 100% white, the dropper tool no longer works. It needs some coloring to work well. But you're totally right that white works also!
