I think the reason the leather might feel "thin" is because its vegetable tanned. Its not that its actually thin by any means but its basically the closest you can get to raw naked leather like vachetta. So what you're touching is basically the leather with a very very minimal surface finish. That's why it can absorb water if wet and stains, why it can scratch fairly easily, and why it darkens over time (patinas). Most leather bags on the market have a heavy finish on them to protect them from cosmetic damage and to standardize their appearance to keep pushing out bags that look the same. 🙂

Hi Kenzie, i got the medium size of this bag , same color ( was inspired by your small one and love at 1st sight lol) and i have to say i'm obsessed. Iam personally super picky with big bags because i have a lot of stuff , and this bag in medium size fits everything and more, the leather is so nice and soft, the zipper is top notch, buttery smooth OMG😍. Definitely one of if not my best purchase of all time, so thank you 🤩😘dont even think i should buy any of other luxury bags than this hehe😝🥰

The two mushroom buttons on the side are supposed to help you changing the shape of the bag,if you button it up with the two little holes the bag will become a rectangular shape😊Been eyeing this bag for ages,thanks for the review ❤

I think the attachment on the strap is for when you store the bag. At least I could see it used for that. Some bags especially vintage get a lot of creasing and damage with the straps hanging down during storage.

These are more structured so maybe less of an issue but maybe as the bag wears they will relax?

I have one but the leather is very poor quality for me. It is cracked and darker after using for 2 months.
