I wish I could be there! Vietnam looks like a great place to live and work, at least the areas I've seen in videos.

Hey mate - so my understanding is that you need a bachelor's degree to teach in Vietnam. I gather it's any Bachelor's but I might be wrong. I have an Executive MBA (which bypassed the need for a Bachelor's). Do you know if that is acceptable for teaching? Just looking at it as a fallback option if I end up living in Vietnam.

Yes, an MBA plus teaching certification (TEFL / TESOL etc) is typically accepted for work permit purposes. Things change often in Vietnam though so best to check with employers directly.

Hello Ninja teacher. I wanted to ask about teaching English in VN. I heard that you must have a bachelor's degree in order to teach, and that it's a requirement. Having a TESOL and speaking fluent English isn't enough according to my source. Is it true?
@ninja.teacher Жыл бұрын
That's correct, it's a Vietnam government requirement to have a degree to obtain a work permit.

@@ninja.teacher Thanks for your reply. Do you know if an Associate's degree would be enough? Also, does this government rule apply to all type of jobs in VN? Thanks again for your assistance!

Hi Alex. Has the law changed to only Education degree holders being allowed to teach? My employer is saying that my wife cannot teach by law because her degree is not in education???
@ninja.teacher Жыл бұрын
Vietnam labor law is complicated but that specific requirement was overturned in resolution 105 I believe.

Hello , what do you think about the “ red flag “ in Vietnam ?
@TheRebornofSocialVietSub Жыл бұрын
what the hell did you need to know about a flag? what is wrong with that? And also he know nothing about Vietnamese history, why you are asking about the "red" flag?
@doodahgurlie Жыл бұрын
The flags only really matter to overseas Viets whom are still bitter over the war. It doesn't matter to Viets inside of Vietnam or foreigners.

Isn't VietNam still a Communist country? Do you feel that you are building up a Communist country?
