3 Months of Roblox VFX Progress

DAM, your efforts are paying off! I started VFX the last week since this comment's time and I really get motivated when I see talented beginner people like you, it gives me that push to achieve the best of myself, I dont know if you can animate too or not but I believe that mixing your VFX with animation will look much better ( it will give the VFX more live to the video )

Thanks bro, I did used to do animations with the vfx back in week 5 or 6 but the vfx were lacking so I'm focused on that for now but soon I'll be adding animations back once I'm good with meshes

Where do you get the sprite for effects?

@@MaxAnplay_play I get the sprites from the toolbox mostly but the high quality flipbooks I use are from ZonitoVisuals and particle editor

Bro you are very talented, I am interested in starting to learn VFX but I don't know how/where to start, could you tell me how you started?

Ok so if you look at my channel you can see I started my journey with straight up tutorial effects just trying to figure out the base of particles and how to properly emit them, KZbinrs channels that are extremely helpful were AMPRO, ZONITO VISUALS, and Many many other channels that I spent alot of time just browsing but around week 5 is when I hit a roadblock and had to start getting creative and making my own because by then I knew the main stuff of how to use a particle emitter or make a simple animation but you need to be super consistent if you want to start too, you also need to hammer in basic vfx knowledge like how to use a flipbook, how to actually emit particles and what bloom and lighting is. Im not sure what you really want from me but I think I can look for some of the main tutorials I used to start with

What apps u use to create ur effects

Adobe After Effect or Photoshop to make the textures, but all plugins I do use in my newest video plugin tutorial, I don't really make too many textures yet but thats what I would use

I make all the particles myself but if your talking about the textures i use ZonitoVisuals and Particle Editor to get them and also the toolbox to get textures

I dont code my vfx other than using the event animation in moon animator to emit or enable my vfx but If your talking about the explosive deity moveset I made a while ago then that one needs a huge tutorial and I could send the place files to show what that one uses

For these effects I used moon animator and timed the sound effects with Lunar sound plugin, for my newer effects I play the sound through replicated storage with code from a local script

I get some of the effects online and make most in audacity and then import it into the asset manager to then be able to use it from either Lunar Sound or through replicated storage
