Talking about Solid; the Gaur sure is a solid chunk of metal. It might not be the handy allround edc you want, but isn't it great to play with? The Borzoi yes i could see that as a part of my edc, even on the workfloor. The mini drever now that was the nicest surprise, i really would love if the took that design to base the Drever 2.0 on. Very attractive piece of cutlery. Thank you JB.

So my current EDC knives rotate between the Kershaw Launch 13 (amazing knife) and my Oknife Titanium edition Splint (smaller, but also a fantastic knife with one of the best frame locks I’ve ever had) my showpiece knife has to go to my Microtech Dirac Delta D/E black edition (rare OTF knife that I am keeping in mint-in-box condition) and decided just now due in part to your review to go ahead n pull the trigger on ordering myself the Gaur here. Love that butcher style. Very unique n will likely prove to be a great addition to my collection. Thanks for the very succinct review of this knife. Much looking forward to getting it. 👍🏼😁

Great review of these three Oknives JB. I am glad you enjoyed checking them out. I am in agreement with you on their sizes. The Gaur will not see much pocket time with me, but I do like it and it is a good conversation piece. I am sorry your full size Drever has developed some lock rock. I have 8 Drevers and none of mine have any lock rock. I am sure if you contact Olight Customer Service they will take care of you. Take care and thanks for reviewing these.

I' mgoing with the mini drever. That still reimains the one I dig the most. And I would lose the clip. I'm to old and have to much arthritis to deal with the front flipper Borzoi. The Gaur is just not for me, especially for EDC. Maybe if it were in Zombie Green. That said, I predict the Guar will be the first to be copied into a Mall Ninja Special because it just looks like a monster cleaver and they are all the rage! It definitely has the looks.

The zilla remains my favorite oknife. The guar only being d2 when they already use 2 better steels is EXTREMELY disapointing

Of the 3 knives the Mini Drever is the most appealing for actual use. It would make a great 5th pocket knife for utility cuts, opening packages and such or as a backup knife. The Borzoi is definatly trying to be a gent knife but I'm not into front flipper only knives, if it had a flipper or thumbstuds might be a different story. The Guar reminds me of the CJRB tigress with that big blade. Not into the cleaver style knives unless they have a lock system that can hold up to a bit of chopping and some hard use as most people would want a knife this size for say outdoors stuff and not necessarily just for EDC, the white scales also wouldn't be my first choice. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable

Pretty solid to this point Rusty! A little issue with my Drever but that sounds pretty few and far between!
