Drills are very good. But the foundation is the stroke. And if his forehand form is okay-sh, backhand is very far from optimal and lacks both spin and power. Before working on footwork patterns and directional control, I’d fix his backhand

Why is he hitting backhands off a deep feed down the line. Shorter area and highest part of the net.. just wrong.

Why is he hitting inside out and inside in forhands of a deep feed. Really hope you read these comments because hat you’re teaching is not game based. The boy has no technique how do you expect to make deep shots off a low to high swing..
