I just noticed the AI robot voice on many of these videos is starting to turn me away. The cadence of a human voice cannot be duplicated...

For me, the pronunciation mistakes pull me right out of the story. The people of the events deserve a competent retelling of their struggles. It's not too much to ask for a quick check before posting the video.

The survival of Valentina is amazing especially hearing that she was alone for 4 days I believe it was before being found. I definitely think just hearing that the others eyes turned red and foam coming from the mouth sounds like a reaction to something in the air, I know that they were found to have hypothermia but that could have been secondary to the initial eyes turning red I would have thought that officials would have checked the area better for possible geological anomalies. May they all rest in peace, every story is heartbreaking.

Possibly, but facts in videos often get mis-interpreted or exaggerated as later videos pass along incorrect info in other videos as “fact.” If that actually happened. It’s incredibly odd, but as said the facts in YT videos are often wrong. For example, in the Elisa Lam/water tank hotel death, the first hotel staff to check the water tank always said the tank lid was open. But one newspaper mistakenly reported the tank lid was closed. And after that one mistake, which the hotel staff have even said in after was wrong, most videos on the incident will say “but the water tank lid was closed!,” as it’s a better mystery. Or in the first Dyatlov Pass case, many reports say one corpse had its “eyes missing,” which some even call “removed.” But more likely, one of the first changes in a body after death is for eyes to deflate as fluid no longer flows. So the body looks like it has “the same no eyes” and can be reported as such, even though it’s not true….the eyes just shrink normally and the sockets look “empty.”

One theory I've heard is that it was VX poisoning. If Valentina's timeline is right, then the pattern of where/when people died, to my understanding, doesn't fit normal gas-based poisonings where there is usually a spread. But, VX can kill by fumes (which can form in lower elevation pockets (creating pockets of death as people pass through rather than a wave pattern), and can also kill by skin contact or ingestion meaning it's possible there were multiple forms of exposure going on. They symptoms also somewhat match - eye issues, rapid breathing with excessive saliva production (which could look like frothing), convulsions, rapid changes in blood pressure, confusion - which can start rapidly within seconds to hours. This would make it more understandable that Valintina could avoid being exposed and have no idea how/why - if it was a mix of fume and contact/ingestion exposure, it would have looked like people just started dropping with no clear reason - maybe one person got water from a contaminated spring, then another went through fumes, then another touched an area covered in it - time-line for symptoms to start can also be variable. If the government was experimenting with VX or perhaps if it had a VX leek, it would want to hide it and cover it up. But it's just a possible theory.

p.s. to my understanding, the theory is not that the USSR would have intentionally tried to poison Valentina's group. Why would they? beyond the fact that it would be another secret to keep, they had no reason to know that group was even going to be there. But, countries with vast wilderness have a history of using it for weapons testing just assuming no one will be there. Canada still fires weapons into the Great Lakes all the time and just leaves it out there; entire cargo ships get lost for centuries in Lake Superior, so they figure the likelihood that anyone would ever find ammunition is so low it's not worth the cost of retrieval...I don't know if the USA also uses the Great Lakes but they infamously have a history of using land masses. Likely, if it was VX, the USSR was testing a dispersion method and just assumed no one would be in the area for a very long time and didn't bother cleaning it up. That would explain having pockets of fumes too, which is more consistent with the USSR just leaving it than it is with a gas attack. Moral of the story is, don't hike in Russia, don't touch things you find on the bottom of the Lake in Canada.

I can't believe the audacity of these people to blame the government for not stopping them to hike into a volcano crater. At which point did they ever considered to consult an expert (or a government agency that monitors them) whether it's safe to do so. Al tho it's sad to hear these people have lost their lives in such a horrible manner and the grief that has caused for their families. But trying to blame the government for this is just lack of any personal responsibility for their own choices and to their own safety.

There's an article in the New Yorker about the Ural mountains incident. Despite what 'some experts' say, there is compelling new evidence that it was an avalanche. When the narrator says, "some people believe..." doubt what follows.

I wish creators would stop with the AI images. It seems like most of the newer videos come out and we are inundated with AI visuals. "Almost" gone are the days where we would listen to the story displaying existing case file photos showing real images and evidence. Too much of a good thing is no longer a good thing. It makes you want to move on to some other creator because like, it's becoming too much.

I am certainly not making light of the loss from the volcano eruption but in my opinion it was an act of God/natural disaster there is not always someone to blame. Instead of placing blame celebrate the lives lost and remember loved ones, at the end of the day it will not bring any of those poor souls back. Prayers for all involved. I honestly believe the government is hiding something in those mountains and it will never come to light what killed those poor innocent people.

Things like this are regretful ! .... But nonetheless, each person is responsible for themselves. ( ULTIMATELY ) it's not necessarily anybody's fault. Bad things happen sometimes. Death is a part of life. We never know when or how we will go. But we all will die someday. The only thing you can do is live. Get your life right with God. Not be afraid to live. Do you best. But it doesn't hurt to try and avoid. Certain locations like hiking a volcano. One never knows when it goes off. Most everybody typically always thinks not me. But each one of us are not that special. Just living day-to-day is dangerous.
