The Albane is such a great bag :) The only reason I don't reach for it as much is just that I am a crossbody/or top handle kind of girl. Otherwise, for shoulder bags, that is my top pick xx

Hi, on the tag there is the 'Style ID' (= name of the bag, leather and colour) and if you type in the last 4 or so digits on the YSL website all the products with that colour will show up. Then you can see how YSL named that colour. It looks like yours is 'Powder'(?) if it says '9906' on the tag...

I came across the acne musubi bag in high school and immediately dismissed the idea of purchasing it once I saw the price tag. But after watching this video, I'm seriously considering buying the bag 😁

I definitely dismissed a lot of things back in high school uni as well (mostly due to price tag haha). But I was going through my bags really quickly as some more affordable bags I used to buy just started to look tired really quickly after 1-2 years. So that's when I started to buy better and the quality difference is really very noticeable :) Hope this video gave you some extra info to help x

Honestly I cannot remember the thought process haha but my full name is not very catchy and I was just playing around with words when I landed on it. Hi Sarah :) I've been searching for more sustainable brands to support lately, but in terms of Doen, all I can think of for more affordable are madewell, & other stories (both of which are not sustainable brands). Otherwise, there are a lot of sellers that do Doen second hand e.g. @doensecondhand on Instagram which makes their pieces a bit more affordable. If I come across any brands, I will share xx

However, I prefer something a bit more structured and also, I'm not much of a Suede person when it comes to bags so I think at the end of the day, I would just prefer the classic Kate. There are so many good recommendations here already! I agree with all of these but here are some extra recommendations for options: My best recommendation would be Cuyana as they make great quality handbags e.g. their tote bag options for something practical and minimal. Mansur Gavriel tote bags are great - I love the way the smooth vegetable tanned leather ages (it will mark but I think that adds to the charm of the bag). The APC bag has not scratched for me at all, however as it is rigid, the corners get some creasing/fold marks. It is not very noticeable. Otherwise this is such a beautiful and polished looking bag. The only reason I don't reach for it more is because I personally am more of a top handle, or crossbody kind of person. Hope this helps :) x
