Great tip is booking a room for the day at comfort suites paradise island, which is right next door to Atlantis and they give you 4 unlimited wristbands to access everything in Atlantis. Beaches, water park, aquariums etc.. for a lot cheaper that buying an excursion through the cruiseline. I paid $175 for my whole family.

There is also the area called the Fish Fry on W Bay Street past Junkanoo Beach that has various restaurants where you have a good meal of Bahamian food.

We loved walking around the aquarium at Atlantis. It was amazing. We just walked around the lobby and looked at the massive aquarium. They had a huge manta ray just gliding through the water.

When on Nassau we went on a tour of the Fort and then to the Pirate Museum! Both really cool and full of History!

The aquariums on Paradise Island all the hotels charge you a fee to just walk through the lobby. Atlantis water park is fun but not free ! Lol....Nothing on Paradise Island is free however all very beautiful

Taxis are a rip-off, start at $28 for 2 persons and $4.00 per additional passengers. Not much to see in Nassau. Everything is way overpriced especially the food. If visiting stay in the Baja-Mar resorts.
