Hey i played this at locals tonight and had a question. The group i play with is under the impression that fighting flame sword (quick play spell lvl 2) (set on field) can not be activated on my opponents turn even though i went for the negate part after he used a monster effect. 2). I am having a hard time finding good xyx or link monsters to support this deck, any help? I have pheniox and salamangreat with deck cards

Love for the archetype and nice deck profile man? How do you see It in the current meta? Can It be a rogue ? I have many of the new flame swordman cards cause i wanted them in my collection , but i Don't know of i should try to build a deck. I thinked about a pure flame swordman with Staples or a infernoble flame swordman , but without the iperexpensive sinfuil spoil pack i Don't know how much fun can i have with them..

The infernoble version is really combo heavy but powerful. I like the pure version with staple hand traps. It's a good rogue option.

Where are you getting 7000? Ulti FS has 2800. If you use its effect to double its atk during the damage step he becomes 5600. Then atk with the 3000 Gearfried which is 8600 damage. This is without even equipping salamandra dragon which gives an additional 700 to ulti flameswordsman. In addition, like he said in the video. With this combo you can otk with just ulti FS. 2800 base atk + 700 from equip + 1000 from realm =4500 then double that for 9000 damage in one attack
