Loved the replay and got the new products yesterday my fish love the magic feed the blood worms may take time I don’t feed a lot of freeze dried foods also haven’t used the airstone yet but I’m sure they are great. Hey Cory, just an idea I would like to share; it would be great if aquarium co op made an auto doser. I think the market has few high quality pieces of equipment. That could fall into your automation line up of products. But at the same time with easy green pump it kinda contradicts the method. I just know all your product lines are top notch. I think customers have high expectations for auto dosers for accuracy and all the potential forward and backward siphoning based on placement. Thanks

Been keeping Barbs for 20 years. The only ones that I've found to be overly nippy are Green/Tiger Barbs and Red Panda Barbs. Everything else has been a great community fish. I've also kept them with good success with goldfish.

I agree with your take on overtime being generally bad and best avoided. It should apply only in urgent situations to deal with unique crisis cases. Most hourly employees end up wanting the time and a half and just stretch their 8 hour days into 10 hour days with the same daily output after two weeks..

I'm curious to know Cory's thoughts, as he used to be critical about Xtreme's price point, but this new food is in some instances more expensive than theirs is. I guess what it comes down to, with most things, you get what you pay for. Quality fish food is expensive to make and thus has a higher price point. Not a slight at the COOP, just thinking maybe he will not be stating Xtreme is a bit expensive.

Replay crew. Already bought the new food. It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm excited for my 100 gallon stock tub full of mutt guppies to try it! I hope you are able to find a manufacturer for your lights. I enjoy the light spectrum. If you do make changes to the light, please consider adding a timer. I don't need an app, but a timer build into the power cord would be nice.

I've got some ideas on a timer, keeping it simple, and not reset during power outages, and keeping cost down, isn't the easiest task. But It is on the radar for the future.

What was the thought that went into not including an ingredient like spirulina, which seems to be an essential natural ingredient in every good fish food these days. Did it significantly affect the buoyancy of the food?

My orange blood parrot fish are so nice .now lately I’ve noticed that they’re getting black pigment spots like little dots and then a little bit on the top door so fun what is it? It’s not a disease or parasite . Anyone can answer does anyone know what that is and will there be more black like a fish gonna change colors?

My male angelfish has the same thing. I'm not sure about blood parrots, but the angels have chromatophores and change color depending on their moods.

We've thought of it and don't plan on doing any more. It's like having a successful farm and then opening up more farms. Doesn't really scale well to have more farms with 1 owner.

Your light manufacturer is going to regret that decision. The "medicinal plant" market is saturated and so is the market for grow lights.

Maybe saturated... but even a small piece of the medical plant industry is probably 10x the entire aquarium hobby.

Granted you’re probably right… but one full spectrum grow light for that market brings way more profit than one for aquariums. And the farms growing with them use hundreds and hundreds of lights.

I eventually subscribed to KZbin Premium and although it’s expensive an uninterrupted 2 hour stream is just so smooth and you’re taken right into the stream with 100% focus
