One of the best series you've ever done Nutn!! Can't wait till part 4. Really I wish this was a 10 parter. This series has everything. Awesome course, guns crew and comedy relief. Two thumbs Nutn!
@hutehund951913 жыл бұрын
I am lovin this series! Well produced, entertaining, and educational. Great Crew! It's also important to note that for all of the minor glitches with reloading, we should be giving Kel-Tec huge kudos for publicly field testing a gun that (for all intents and purposes) is still in the development stage. Added to that is the handicap of not fully loading the weapon (which has proved to be a very good idea), and Chad has handled the suggestions on improvements with candor and professionalism.

@Ninety9Soulz Excellent comment and you are correct in the training issue. I am glad that is coming through. If it's the only shotgun you will use, you are going to get good at it. Every one in the crew here wants at least one.

Haha! Great fun and nice work you guys. It's great to see the progression of speed develop over time. I like the twin "engine" set-up because I think the benefits outweigh any real or perceived disadvantages. Based on the dimensions the KSG could be strapped to a pack and offers the versatility of three primary loads...an all in one platform. Thanks for another fun video Nutn!

Its pretty cool to see Chad progressing during the different parts of this series, he is an experienced shooter for sure but strapping some gear on and even moving just a few feet throws off your normal bench shooter, rock on Chad its not meant for everybody but you started flowing in these later parts, great job Nutn and crew setting up this course of fire awesome.

Sitting here doing homework and watching your KSG videos (I'm about to start the 4th one right now). I'm VERY jealous of you guys. Very entertaining! That looks like a lot of fun. This is my first time coming across Nutnfancy/TNP...I'll have to continue watching and looking into what you do. Hopefully, I gain a little more insight on what to purchase for my first firearm...instead of continuously borrowing going to my parents house to borrow one. Thanks for videos. -Erik

I hope Chad reads this comment, because they may want to consider changing the botton loading bay - into a loading through the butt pad of the stock, or do a top loading bay on the stock in between the cheek welds maybe. This would bypass all sling issues while loading.

Unless you are in a full combat situation, the KSG is going to be FULLY LOADED, if you can't get the job done with 15 rounds of 00 buck, or slugs then you have no buisness even holding the shotgun. Also, I was trained to load on the run like most that have been trained with shotguns. As far as the selector switch goes, that's just training and gross motor skill muscle memory. GREAT follow up vid Nutn, keep it up!
@jks238913 жыл бұрын
I think this design is perfect for military and LE use, meaning dual tube. Does away with the need for ammo changing, load 1 tube with normal shot, the other with slugs, breaching rounds, whatever. If you need to change ammo, just switch to the other tube and pump it. Of course the bullpup design would make it unnatural to reload, but that can be worked around with training.

The capacity and compactness of the KSG are great advantages but loading seems to be an issue, especially under duress. With a standard pump or auto, the rounds to in the tube, you chamber one, resume shooting. These sling placement issues, not having the selector on the right tube when trying to load, and all the unintentional dry fires are great food for thought when considering this gun for a defensive role. Looks are very cool, but it has to work as well. Great work TNP.

I've wondered....have you guys ever thought about making a modular "corner" For those multiple target stages where you need to pie the corner? That would be an awesome addition.
@nirsi1913 жыл бұрын
@Eurotrash4367 I think they explained that the ksg isn't made to be reloaded in combat. Its made for little home defense shoot out types, where 15 rounds is more then enough.It has 15 rounds, so if there is a bigger fight you have more than 2 times the magazine capacaty of a conventionel shotgun. So you have to reload half the times withyou would with the conventional types.And I personally think that after a little training I isnt that bad.

@MARINE1146 A lot of people will try to be negative about Nutn in order to increase their viewers/listeners. It is not a stupid move, as it actually works...which is why I am removing your plug for his show. I was sent a link to the show and I got tickled when D.C. described Nutn as a "college kid". @LUVMAGNUMGUNS2 They clean up after themselves and they even pick up anything they find from others. There is a reason why they have specific shooting stations and not just shooting while actually on the run.

Im liking the KSG a lot, I hope to own one soon after release. I don't think It'd be a huge issue training wise, it seems that there was a lot of improvement after a day two two of running. And SG is pretty inexpensive to train with, at 5 bucks for 20 rounds of sportload (walmart). Overall I like what i see from the system. Good stuff Nutn! thanks for all the time you put in

KSG seems to point quicker, but the traditional pump seemed WAY better for follow-up shots thanks to its more front-heavy design. Novel idea for a gun, that KSG... Don't think I'll switch to a bull-pup shotgun, but I'd get one for my girlfriend since she seems to like it.

Maybe some type of indicator that shows which tube is available to feed. Like some kind of green strip or arrow or dot that shows which tube is available for feeding. Depending on which way you have the switch. And it can just go black when your going to load the plus +1.
