Dude it rules the way you roll out new vids! Rock on!

@BENLINUZ Thanks much for the support. I and the crew come away very impressed with the KSG overall. It is fast, very compact, light, and has xlnt firepower. Some of the issues can be minimized with training. I wasn't real sure why the slide was sticking (discussed in vid) and it still held some surprises for us (jam is coming) but overall a winning design. Loading is more difficult since it's basically at your shoulder unless you dismount and flip it.

This kel-tec shooting series has been one the the most entertaining (hilarious) TNP shooting vids I have watched yet. thanks for posting. definite thumbs up!

Yeah! Been looking forward to seeing the rest of this shoot. Great job nutn and crew. Big thanks to them as well as Chad and Keltec for coming out and putting their guns in the shoot and in front of the camera!

@oshkoshbjosh986 Thank you! Your enthusiasm makes me want to do more like it. If these videos are received poorly then I'm not likely to do future manufacturer shoots. So far TNPrs have been great and it's been real fun and educational.

Now this was a fun vid series. Great work. Thanks Kel Tec for a very interesting product. Keep up the good work, guys. Chad, PFI Family, loved it.

@tacticaltrigger Thanks man...sometimes I say to myself "Man I'd really like to shorten this up" but when I watch it there's so much good and interesting talk that ensues that I think you guys will like. This was one of those shoots. Very little is edited out and it plays well all on its own, no music, just talk.

Props to Chad for being real and not a corporate plug machine!!! Because of your videos I have made several purchases than I an very happy with. My PF9, cold steel ak47, and several other products of personal and liberty protection. Thank You from the friends and family who I have introduced to your work. Keep it up, we love ya bro!( not in a pink PFI way) lol

@Glasgow1270 You will love our Saiga runs...that gun that PFI puts together just screams. It's a good contrast to the pumps. But dang, that's a big and heavy drum mag it will use!

@IsbianBlackheart Yep I too love the 870 and you are well-armed with it. No need to change what works. That's another reason I'm running the Win 1300 here too; I don't want to send a message that those guns are now obsolete.

@UN1FORMED Nutn is like a long-lost brother... I feel like I've known him my whole life. I had such an amazing time hangin' out with him and the crew. He & his family are fantastic people... they really took very good care of me on that trip. The PFI gang freakin' rock too. Thanks for gettin' Nutn's back. He deserves to have people like you tuning in, going along for the ride and having fun. Have a great weekend!! -Chad

@thesunsetdriver That is a production KSG. Chad and I shoot slugs with it here later on against steel at 50 yards. You will like that I think. I also do several 00 Buckshot runs with the KSG and Winchester. It's a thorough test of the system I think.

@enjoythewildUSA I think what you're seeing here with KelTec (earlier this month with Keith from Tactical Solutions) is a first: candid product testing and evaluation WITH the manufacturer present, no holds barred. I remain a huge KT fan (the PFIs too) and I approach this shoot rooting for every gun's success. However I can't put blinders on to the downsides we may note. Not that our experience is representative of everyones'...but you see it as it happens, it's real, and logic is involved.

Yet another great video in the TNP Kel-Tec series! The KSG (i.e. Kel-Tec Safety Glasses) Nut’n is sporting, totally rock. The KSG (i.e. Kel-Tec Shotgun) totally rocks, as well. Hopefully I will be able to purchase one in the state of CA. Once again great comedy from all of you guys… PFIDude with the brilliant braided hair gear attachment method. Thanks again for all of your hard work, it is much appreciated.

@Supermassively Dude you have been laying down some great comments here. Good idea on the markings on the tube to determine which one's active. The selector does that too but it's hidden and easily missed.

I can't believe how well the 1300 was shooting! That said I really want a Ksg(after the kinks are worked out) Just bought an SU-16 and it really is a" high value" gun. I called Kel-Tec to whine about some sharp edges on the mag well and trigger guard, and they took care of me like I was family.Chad deserves a raise for his honesty and ability to be humble in the face of criticism.

@xxZR2xx XD40 is excellent but I do prefer the XDM when it's offered in the caliber choice and barrel length you want. The XDs/XDMs are excellent competitor guns: fast, consistent trigger, and very accurate. That's why I chose it in my LETC runs last fall.
@nutnfancy13 жыл бұрын
@WW2Fanatic1000 I think our love of our guns has much to do with how well we personally can hit with them. In that vein, the Smith and Wesson 1911s, at least for me, inspire confidence and hits come easy. Will try to give a review on it. They have a revised 1911 "E" lineup but I am very satisfied with the originals. Also I hope KT does revise the KSG quickly, especially the beveling of chamber area and safety. However it's entirely up to them and the gun may remain the same.
@zarniwhoop196113 жыл бұрын
on the "Single point sling mount" What you have there is a ball lock pin. it is a standard piece of hardware. Kind of like a big cotter pin, only with a neat push button release feature. The bail is meant to be used for attaching a lanyard from the pin to the equipment it is used with, so it dosen't get lost. it is only meant to hold the weight of the pin itself. Whoever thought to use one for this Great Idea, but there are other designs of ball lock pins with stronger lanyard ring attachments.

The single most impressive thing will be if Kel-Tec actually takes to heart what was found out in this series of videos. I have no doubt Chad will implore the guys that make decisions to change the little things that should be changed, but we will see if they have that corporate, we do whats best for the dollar attitude.. For some reason though I think Kel-Tec will come through and be one of those (FEW) companies we can all agree does listen to their customers. Cool stuff fellas.

LOL! This series of vid is just classic guys being guys one upping each other... For those who just don't understand, if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen! Love this stuff! Looks like a TON of data points are coming out on this series and not just firearm related I might add. Watching how all the gear performs while running and how things move around through the brush when running vs. walking as well as the boot blow out... Can't forget the targets as well! Great stuff Nutn!

Everybody did some awesome shooting,Chad did a great job on camera and progressed very well in pt2,with one or two point slings something that helped me years ago was running your sling on your reaction shoulder instead of your weapon shoulder,a cool sling to check out is a Slingsystem 2-1 point adjustable, with one click of a buckle it transfers over from a two point to a one point without taking the sling off or adjusting mounts on the weapon,my favorite sling to date

@mdmyers7206 You are absolutely right: think of it as a one tube gun with a fast reload if and when you need it. The double tube setup can be confusing. Honestly I think any ideas of running two loads in them and selectively using them will be fraught with mix ups. It could be mastered with LOTS of practice.

I have never seen anyone who's familiar with a single-action pistol "forget" to thumb the safety. But i have heard about one case where the gun was taken from them, and the criminal was unable to shoot them with it - because he didn't thumb off the safety. Other than that, another great video - the KSG looks promising, I hope they take all the data to heart and produce an excellent shotgun ! I'll be getting one in 2015 LOL, haha Chad is great - get that guy a raise !

I think it was that 'tactical jump" over the bush that totally made up the time! I think it was that which saved you like 30 seconds Nutnfancy! You might want to do it a little slower next time....and don't forget to sloowwlyyyyy exhale, bring in your gun, and make sure you sweep the area from left to right...realllyyyyyy sloooowlllyyyy. I think that might give you another 17 second bonus. I forgot, maybe it was 18 seconds! :)
