I tried passing tip #1 in my game today. No joke had the best game of the season so far. My coach told me my reading was so good tonight but it was just my preparation to move in any given direction. Thank you so much!!

Great tips! The tennis split step is something I haven't heard yet. Excited to try it out. Do you use the tennis split step when receiving spikes as well?

Great communication guys, many beach volleyball videos don't really explain things efficiently like you have. Question on serve/receive... Are you suggesting the tennis split step into a staggered feet stance to then respond to the serve/attack? On what cue during the serve/attack do you make the decision to tennis split step? Also, any suggestions on positioning (or reading) jump float serves that are driven hard to the backline/corners about chest/shoulder high? I'm 5'11" and I'm positioned about 5-7 feet from the back line. Thanks

MCKB Volleyball i applied the split step last night and what a tremendous difference. Not just mobility but i felt my touches were noticeably more controlled. Thank you! And thanks for the deep float tips as well! -Victor Miami, FL

MCKB Volleyball tried it on defense tonight and i feel like i have that much more time to relax and make a better decision on the information the hitter/setter are giving me. I definitely have better mobility to cover the court because of this step. I feel i can absorb more withkkoookdding this time my game help isolate areas of my defensive game and focus on improving

Is there any tips to passing when the wind is very strong?
@mannplaza29687 жыл бұрын
Tip #2 is ESSENTIAL keeping the staggered feet ALSO allows you to get balls shot deep over your head. When a ball is going over your head and dropping 'deep line' having a staggered stance allows you to pivot on that back leg and turn while allowing you to keep your eye on the ball. When you pivot on that back foot and you do a complete 180 degree turn you are now in a sprinter position to get to that deep shot ball.

can you do a video on overhead passing?
@philipkim68126 жыл бұрын
when retreating after attacking or blocking i get caught in no mans land and often have to overhead pass a hard driven ball. it is difficult to control. maybe i should commit to either staying up or getting back all the way so i can pass properly. thanks for the reponse. i really enjoy your breakdowns and tips.

Prep tip #1 seems the same as #2 - both are using staggered feet. What is the difference? (Thanks!)
