Eh, new chassis weighs less and has better suspension. A 1500hp 2jz in a mk5 would ruin a mk4 with the same engine.

@@patrickdabs and it is a lot stiffer as well. But some people seem to think material science and engineering tech stayed the same in the last 20 years... And in what ways is the b58 worse than a 2jz? Ok it has a smaller bore which is obviously bad for power, but otherwise it is stout and takes 800hp no problem. 99% of people will not run their streetcar on 1500+hp, so having a heavy ass iron block is just unnecessary weight and the people trying to push the limits can just get a billet (or in the future maybe 3d printed) block. And keep in mind the jz is heavier than an ls and the ls is shorter and ohv leading to a lower and further back weight balance.

@@laurean5998 B58's have oil supply issues around 650+hp but weigh much less, And 2JZ's are ridiculously stout but heavy iron block inline sixes, and Ls builds are time bombs over 800hp on the stock block. They all have downsides, people just cant get out of the mindset that "my opinion is better than yours" and let people enjoy shit they like.
