Great video, I really like the idea of the best to be had to get when no one is looking :D that is exactly when I have been doing as well. I think my three picks for a three-piece under 1k watch collection would be (I got all my picks from Chrono24) Dress watch: Hamilton Vintage Caliber HAM 732 for 175$, Casual and going out watch: Certina Cal. 23-36 Helmet for 300$, Daily beater: Zodiac vintage Zodiac professional 200m red dot 550$

I like these kinds of videos. You don't need to spend a fortune to have a small collection. I can't understand why people go into debt on a credit card 20% something interest to buy a popular watch.
@todorelojconfernando4 жыл бұрын
I see that why to much, people buy watches hoping it will be the next big thing and 20% credit card rates are all they get in return

There are some folks with the right equipment from Bulova who are servicing the Accutrons. Worth it for sure with a Spaceview. I’m still chasing original Seiko Speedtimers and getting them restored. Good ones are getting harder to find and I’m a buy/restore/hold type of collector. I rarely sell unless I’m replacing a watch with a better version.

I still know a few watch men that work on accutron but they told me how they cheat they just swap engines

If you are willing to go below 36mm, there are real bargain solid gold watches on the market. Nice Omega with the black dial, like it.

What do you think of 1960 movado trans Atlantic king matic. All original. Date only. Looking at one for 1200. Appreciate your input. Love the content.

I have two Bulova solid gold watches, one I had to fix but it cost a pretty penny. The other one I got lucky works perfect and I got it with the original lizard band and buckle.

Compré hace poco un Seiko cal. 6309 de 1977 que me costó $10 dólares y prácticamente funciona COSC a 0.6 seg./día. Y relojes nuevos suizos de $500 que son mucho menos precisos que ese Seiko viejo.
