Great video! I like this way of dividing the meta in to these three groups. It’s more complicated of course by a really good starting point to understanding it. One thing. There is a noise as if something is hitting your mic or mic stand every few seconds.

Do you see decks like Rey Red as just outside these pillars? More like a rogue deck? It has seen some good results as well
@imzwiing3 ай бұрын
I'm not the biggest fan of the current Rey Red builds that I've seen so far. I think she has too many bad matchups unfortunately with common ways the deck is built right now. However, if there is a way to build the deck to make her more favorable into the popular meta decks, she can probably do well. There are some things that the deck does that are fundamentally pretty strong such as some of the discard stuff and the force package.

In my personal experience I found out Young Han is just better than her. I have a +70% win rate on Karabast with Young Han Blue. He does everything she does, but better. Her early game is too "fair" with the whole "play a 2 drop, pump it + play another 2 drop the next turn" thing. With Han you just start dropping bomb after bomb a turn early. K-2 on turn 2, Rey on turn 3, etc, etc. You just manage to put your opponent on the back foot every single time. Then late game you have Redemption, Dragon, Chewbacca (which is a sick card in this deck), etc. Deck's sick.

Thoughts on Vader Green for set 2? I’ve seen some people ranking it highly but I feel rivals fall is too back breaking to the deck. Control hasn’t quite arrived yet so maybe there’s a chance for it to shine in the current version of the meta.

I don't think Rivals Fall is too bad for Vader actually. You have so many threats that control decks will likely run out of single target removal at some point. I think the main enemy of the ramp decks are the aggro decks which are really prevalent right now.

What do you think of krennic green?Do you think qi'ra is just better?
@imzwiing3 ай бұрын
They’re somewhat similar decks. Krennic is likely a little better into aggro due to the built in restore. Where Qi’Ra is a lot better into midrange/control due to being able to answer leader flips super cleanly.
