Trilian is practically the same as Omnisphere, I used it to create my bass lines for my first track. It is the continuation of Trilogy, so it is over 40 gigs. It is so similar to hardware that there is no way to automate plugin parameters through the DAW, only record the automations in real time.

Thanks for the video! BTW Trilogy is not available anymore, but its entire library is contained in Trillian, the successor. He is probably also using Serum by now, but I'll give it a try when I start my next track.

I went on a music produxtion course with Eclip, who knows Astrix. Although he makes his own music, he gets it mixed by someone else.. so, outsource what you struggle with. Its just easier..

for real? ASTRIX is not mixing and mastering his tracks? so he exports everything from each track as STEMS and sends it to an external studio?

@hijsen4784 Yeah, I heard a lot of industry secrets over the years. If someone can do it better - then why not outsource it ? So I'm sure he knows how to create sounds and all the ideas, he can even mix to a degree - but people trying to get to his level aren't aware that he is outsourcing the mix and master to REAL professionals with ridiculous half million dollar studios.. I've done ghost writing for a lot of people.. some people that are famous have never written a track in their lives! I'm a mixing and mastering engineer predominantly though

@@MOSMASTERING yeah, in the analogue music-scene (I'm more into Metal and Neofolk or DungeonSynth) it is standard to get a pro for mastering - but interesting to hear that even an ASTRIX is not doing everything on it's own! It is a huge difference in being a musician, a composer and a sound-engineer - it requires a whole different set of skills and ears for each ;o)

@@MOSMASTERING bro half a million dollar studio? He aint mixing a plat record bro, hes mixing a psytrance generic track that will get 50k views. It is mixed by someone in a decent room who made way to many mixes and he knows a good psytrance groove by heart... It is not some freaking LA studio professional, maybe infected mushroom have that, not astrix.

are you sure Eclip doesnt mix his tracks? Mastering sure, they all get engineers to the mastering. But normally they mix their tracks themselves
