Thanks for your time this helped me. My new kit is different from my old battered set up. This is the first video that showed all the is needed to install my kit.

We have a Kubota B5000 without the rear arm kit. It could be used for many small jobs with this type of rear kit and with the drawbar kit would be great. Really enjoyed your video, taking time to properly explain the rear arm kit. I will need to check the rear wheels as I can't remember if they have the holes for the shaft.

Thanks for your comment. It would be quite an annoying procedure to do if you also had to jack the tractor up and then remove a wheel just to install this bar.
@stuartd869510 ай бұрын
Thank you for your reply, well, our Kubota B5000 rear wheels do not have the holes for the 3 point linkage bar. They do have extensions to fit dual rear wheels. I have many other jobs the Kubota could carry out using this linkage kit. Winter work too. I watched a video where a Kubota was used to scrap milking cattle sheds daily. It looked so easy compared to using larger tractors and scrapers. Burning less diesel also.

Ok so perhaps the entry level one such as the B5000 doesn't have the holes in the wheels, probably designed to only run the Kubota branded attachments. They really can do a lot more than you would think and pull more than twice their weight. I have found them to be economical too considering their age too.

Such a Thorough video cheers. Mine doesn’t have holes in wheels to remove bottom shaft. Looks like original bottom shaft is installed but doesn’t fit the 3 point kit I need to replace it with the one in kit. Seems like it won’t Move. Guess the wheel has to come off and bash it with a sledgehammer

Hope it's not welded in place and that you can get it off. Good luck.

Indeed, nice to have interchangeable parts.

I don't know where your comment went about the hedge trimmer, but to reply to you I have # 14328 so an early one, I am aware there are still parts available, but the price of those parts are greater than the value of the hedge trimmer. I also have an even older hedge trimmer that I still use, it's a Tanaka THT 23 with a TAS 23cc engine also made in Japan from around 1974.

It is amazing to see how many of these hedge trimmer’s that sold throughout the world I have #41164 bought it in 1984 are you going to put the handle back on it give you a little tip on the throttle my throttle broke 12 years ago it was too expensive to buy so I had an idea to use the brakes Handle off my handlebars on my10 speed bike and it worked perfectly if you can find an old bike you’re not using pull the brakes off the handlebars and use it 👍👍👍

Thanks for the tip about the throttle control, I hadn't thought about that, but no I wasn't planning on using it or to find the parts to put it together. I only bought it to sell parts, but first enjoy the challenge of getting it going. Here in Portugal it is very hard to sell second hand equipment so not worth trying to put it all back together. And as I have a complete working hedge trimmer I don't need this one.

I think this would work for my B6100! Where did you purchase this? Could i please have a link?
@WilkoinFrance3 ай бұрын
Yes It should work for the B6100, it's pretty universal for many small tractors. Mine came with the tractor when I bought it, but every tractor store should have this set for sale. If you type in on Google 3-point hitch Kubota B6100, there are many options and prices. Though finding a store close to you may be cheaper with shipping as it's heavy, kit is around 20kg.

Very good viero, helped me a lot. I have the same B7001 and tractor, they offer me a 3 points category 1, will it be compatible?
@WilkoinFrance Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment, category 1 is the correct size for this tractor, so it should be compatible, just make sure that if you buy any attachments that they are also category 1.

Sorry for the late reply, I missed your message, these are the tires that came with the tractor, I believe they are Bridgestone.

Hello, I have a Kubota B7001. Do you know if it is a way to adjust the raise ‘arms’ to lift the 3 point hitch higher? Sometimes I get stuck when I back up because I cant raise attached equipment high enough
@WilkoinFrance9 ай бұрын
Hello, yes this is possible to adjust, if I remember correctly there is a adjustment rod on the right side of the seat close to the lift handle, you should be able to undo the clamping bolt and slide the stop to the desired position. I remember that I had mine set up a bit too far that the top arm would poke me in the back seat if lifted all the way up, but it did give good clearance and I never got stuck reversing. Otherwise here's a link to Kubota manuals, the procedure is the same as B7100, B6000 www.kubotabooks.com/AutoIndex/index.php?dir=Tractor%20Owners%20Manuals/

Great video Wilko, thanks. Do you remember the length of the lower link arms ?
@WilkoinFrance2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I have measured it, but because the lower link arms have a few bends in them it's hard to measure correctly. I came to around 55cm, but that's from measuring each straight piece to the bend and then adding it all up, so not that accurate.
@danielquiroz93752 жыл бұрын
@@WilkoinFrance Many thanks for taking the time. I just ordered a kit and I think they are the same length as yours there.
@WilkoinFrance2 жыл бұрын
No problem, hope it fits. Usually all small tractors up to 20 HP use this type of set-up sometimes called a Category 0, 3 point hitch.
