Want to make better KZbin thumbnails to improve your click-through rate (CTR) and grow your KZbin channel? In this video, I share my analysis of the three main styles of KZbin thumbnails that have performed well for me and are popular amongst other KZbinrs.
In this video, we uncover the three primary styles of KZbin thumbnails:
1. Face + context
2. The evidence
3. Cinematic
After analyzing numerous thumbnails, I've identified these three styles to help optimise your KZbin thumbnails for maximum impact. In this video, we walk through each style learning about the right time to use each one and what elements to include.
We start with the face plus context style, which is the bread and butter of most KZbin thumbnails. We learn about showing emotion, positioning elements to avoid obstruction and keeping text minimal.
Next, we explore the evidence style, which showcases proof of accomplishment or a trailer of what to expect in the video, often used in educational and tutorial content.
Finally, we delve into the cinematic style, typically used for high-quality, film-like content, and how it can be combined with other styles for a compelling thumbnail.
Towards the end of the video, we will analyse random thumbnails on my KZbin homepage to reinforce the concepts discussed. We also provide a tutorial on creating these thumbnails using Canva, demonstrating the practical application of these techniques.
