I managed to pick up a Pro + disk drive bundle for less than £600! I’m coming from a base PS4 so I haven’t played any PS5 games yet and I’ve even been holding off on the cross gen games. Plus I’m a huge GTA fan so even if it only slightly enhances GTA 6 it’s worth it for me! Also I have an LG OLED C1 so overall I think at £600 I will get so much value out of it. Definitely not worth it for most people though!

I feel like it's entirely warranted to jump on board with a PS5 pro when you don't have a PS5 already! It gets a bit more questionable for me when existing PS5 owners spring for an upgrade.

@@VanHelvet yeah agreed! The improvements are definitely not big enough if you already have a PS5 unless you’ve got unlimited funds. Personally I probably won’t get a PS6 straight away so I’m gonna get a good number of years out of my Pro

They don't want it to sell like hot cakes since they sell it at a loss and make it up in game sales. This new console won't speed up game sales enough to offset the extra loss they would take. That's probably why it's priced so shit

Playing Stellar Blade and I feel the difference from base PS5. Good enough for me. I also got Rise of The Ronin to play and I'm sure Monster Hunter Wilds alone will make it worth it.

My tv is a 85 inch 4k UHD it’s refresh rate is 60 and it’s HDMI 2.0 I currently don’t have any PlayStation, would a pro be worth it with my current set up?

Only thing I disagree on is the need for a 120hz tv. You’re getting 120 hz in an extremely small set of titles. 99 percent of the time you won’t get more than 60 fps on the Pro. So while it’s something to consider, I’d place that in the nice to have category but nowhere near in the need to have category.

Hello , nice video . This is going to be my first PS5 Pro , I never played gaming before . My question is as a "new kid on the block" , if you were in my shoes , would you order the DVD disc drive as well , or its not necessary ??? any advantage to have or not to have it ?

If you don't already have a collection of PS4/PS5 games on disc and are happy to download new games then you don't need the disc drive. Physical games are often cheaper and of course you have the option of buying used or selling games you no longer want.....but the external disc drive is so expensive (even if you could get one at the moment....) I would advise you not to bother with the drive.

Needs to be said that the PS5 pro does not inherently make any games perform better, it only facilitates developers to reach better performance more easily.

I bought a launch PS5 and basically just play GT7 and ACC, both in 1080, so atm I don't need the pro 🙄😀

If gt7 is all you play you would actually enjoy the pro. Love mine gt7 looks 2x better on it paired with a good monitor vs a og ps5

1. Yes 2. Sit close to a mid end samsung 4k 60 crystal uhd...And can notice the pro updates. Im happy at a smooth 60. Possibly update to at least a vrr set down the line. 3. Playing anything from elden ring f124 Spiderman stw outlaws. To new games like, new indy and ac evo. Do I regret it...no. is it a tad overpriced without a disk drive....yes!!! I took my disk drive off my slim until I can get hold of one.

@@danloki78 if you’re a Samsung user, you may want to make the upgrade to QD OLED, you’d be blown away. The S90D’s and D’s are on sale this holiday season. It’d be a great upgrade.

There are people out there to whom these things do not matter and will never notice the improvements, and still going ahead and buying expensive gaming hardware and then pissing all over the internet about Ps5 Pro and making deciding difficult for those who need it😂😂😂
