Just want to remind you about the most most important decision we need to make before we die, and that is to receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior. I just wanted to let you know a little about what the bible says. It takes more than just believing in God. John 3:3 says, we must be Born Again to get to heaven before our time is up.. Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's glorious standard, and all need to be made right with God by his grace, which is a free gift. We need to be made free from sin through Jesus Christ. Bible also says, its not by works should any one boast. So being a good person does not get you to heaven either. The only way to heaven is by repenting of your sins, which means a change of mind, and putting your faith and trust in Jesus. Romans 10:13 says, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. So you see, there is a need for salvation to get to heaven. That is why Jesus died on the cross. He took all of our sins upon him, so that if you accept Him as your Lord and Savior, you can have eternal life in paradise. You do not get there being a good person, or doing good deeds. Many people believe that is all it takes. Jesus also says, that I am the way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes unto the father, except through me. So please make that decision, so that you can have peace and comfort before your time is up. Its the most important decision of your life. You can then have that peace and assurance of salvation in your heart. All you have to do is humble your heart and pray with faith,... "I repent of my sins, and I turn to You. You said in Your word that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. I ask You Jesus to forgive me of all my sins, come into my heart, and take control of my life. From this day forward I want to live for you. ..... It's not about the words, it's about your heart. The Lord will then send His Holy Spirit to live on the inside of you. The Holy Spirit is Gods seal of salvation, and your evidence you have been Born Again. He will transform your heart and mind. He will bring you into a personal relationship with Jesus. You will become a new person inside. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new”. Its truly amazing! You will be filled with peace, love, and joy of the Lord inside you. All the fruits of the Holy Spirit. He will comfort you in your time of need, and give you the strength to endure. No matter what you are going through, Jesus wants to help you through it. You can lean on Him. Its the most important decision of anyone's life. God's Word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Grace Alone. My husband is my carer he helps me to rat, go to the toilet, walk, see to my personal needs, take me to my hospital appointment ls. God bless him ❤

I took very good care of my husband and sometimes I wonder how I did it. I’m in my 60s with auto immune diseases but I did it. When he went to hospice for the only six days that he was there till he passed, they said I took excellent care of him.I barely slept for probably six months because I was always checking on him. Any noise any sound anything? Everything was to take care of my husband and I would do it all over again. I miss him.

I’m so sorry 😞 for your loss hon, prayers! I’ve lost several family members in the last 17 months which inc my Mom & Daddy, there is nothing to replace their love and time heals but the memories live on. I pray you find consolation knowing he loved you 😢

@@Lady64Blue oh yes, I absolutely agree. I am so happy that I have found her channel. I’ve been watching her for sometime and she’s been a tremendous help. The hospice center where my husband was for 6 days were the kindest most caring people.

My husband was told a couple of days ago, by his oncologist, that the immunotherapy isn't doing what they had hoped it would do and he has more lymph nodes, nodules and another spot on his only kidney that's barely functioning. He insisted on additional immunotherapy but the Dr told him that he needs to focus on quality of life at this time. He persuaded the Dr to add more anyway. He has a home health care nurse come 3 times a week. I don't know what to do anymore. I can't even get him to help me with our will or anything. I've been working on this for several years. I'm just exhausted. Thank you for listening to me. I benefit from you videos and appreciate you making them.

@@vanitamann7985 Oh wow. I am so happy to hear that you know Jesus. I want you to know that I am so sorry for what you are going through. I am definitely going to be lifting up your husband in prayer, and for the Lord to give you the strength needed to help you through this difficult time. Continue to rely on the power of God for day-to-day strength, and, as the Lord gives grace. (2 Corinthians 12:7-10). Finally, take comfort in Jesus’ promise of eternal life and peace. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27). God bless you both

Well I've been watching your videos for a while now, since I figured out my dad was never getting better and began looking into hospice care. I just wanted to say that the videos were a lot of help. Helped me prepare for the different types of death when it came down to the active dying phase. Fortunately my dad had a pretty peaceful death. He labored pretty hard for the last 24 hours or so, he rattled for about the last 4 hours with the exception of the last hour or so. His breathing became shallower and shallower the last 10-15 minutes. He opened his eyes with about 3-5 minutes left ( I was thankful for that even though I don't think he saw me). His breaths grew further and further apart, maybe even a minute apart, until I needed to lay my head on his chest to hug him and to check for a heart beat. He took one last small breath, his heart stopped, then he let it out. I couldn't have asked for a better death for him. I'm so glad I found your channel and had in home hospice get involved a couple of months ago. So my dad, a career Army Aviator, flew his last mission home this morning 6/4/24 at 11:19 AM. When he "slipped the surly bonds of Earth" and "put out his hand, and touched the face of God" as the poem "HIGH FLIGHT" says. Thank you ma'm and all the others who've answered the calling of hospice care.

This is a very good video for those of you caring for someone on hospice at home. When I took care of my Mom, the hospice nurses and the social worker who came out told me the exact same thing. She's safe, she's clean and she's comfortable. It was hard to watch her decline and I wanted to do more, but one of the nurses reminded me that there was nothing more that could be done.

Thank you so much for your videos! I went to bed last night doubting everything I had done and your video spoke directly to me ! You made me feel so comforted in my efforts. I put the phone down and an hour and a half later my dad passed away . He was clean, safe, and in no pain. He went peacefully with three short breaths. This was a tough road but hospice really helped . Thank you for your vast and valuable knowledge.

It’s too late for us, but this might be helpful for someone else. I was not prepared for how much it would it costs for my husband to die at home on his family land. I, stupidly thought it would actually cost less, much less. Asking more questions during this time, when your anxiety is at a top peek. Who does this time at this in a loved one’s last days with his loving family is there supporting their loved one. I’ll tell you was it was in our case. Hospice and the wonderful healthcare. And yes I’m upset at this when my husband of 40 years was dying in my arms. I just want the public to be aware Thank you Julie and for this channel, you have educated many of us.

“Medical aid in dying” or “medical assistance in dying”! The person who plans to take the medication is usually at home where he/she receives hospice care services. Hospice care is not a requirement but it is essential in addressing a person’s symptoms and managing their pain.

Dear Julie, I cannot put into words hard enough on how much your videos have meant & comforted me. Working within this country’s NHS I have seen some awful and quite frankly unnecessary deaths, I have also had the great honour in nursing someone palliatively who refused hospital care but wanted to die in her own home with a peaceful & dignified death, I felt blessed to have been with her right to the end, she suffered no pain or discomfort in any way……..I knew & believe she did to that the end was near, she passed so peacefully & most importantly her wishes were respected. From that day & watching your beautiful videos I have just pre- ordered your book from Amazon. I want to thank you for talking about the importance of a good death, so many people fear it, will not talk about it and are in some ways ignorant of the difference between hospital deaths where everything is actively done to keep you alive regardless of the quality of dying compared to hospice where pain, anxiety, nausea are dealt with & the patient is ‘King’ meaning their wishes & comfort are paramount. I think "comfortable" would drive me crazy! What if they are non-verbal now and it's impossible to know if they are ok with what is going on?! I think I would be hovering over (annoyingly!) just in case they exhibit signs!

Hi Julie, I saw the video of the orb in that patients room. I just want to tell you a few days ago my ring woke me up and no kidding my battery on ring was dead. Anyway I open my camera and I kid you not an orb came to my front door . It was either my son or my twin who both past about two yrs ago. It is plane as day. I saved it. My mother in law was just sent home on hospice. She has MS. & her kidneys are failing. She's very very groggy, eyes are glassy, foggy. She hasn't eaten in days...how do I comfort my husband, who is so distraught and feels the Dr's letting her suffer (she's comfortable, but she wants to go NOW)

I wish to god I'd seen this before I took care of my mother. I am tormented now by the job I did. I really didn't understand what I was getting into when I went to her home, that she was so close to death and I would be her nurse, and I didn't conceptualize that these were my basic tasks. Hospice hadn't installed a hospital bed and she fell, and it didn't even cross my mind (or her nurse's) to build some kind of barrier out of pillows so she wouldn't fall again. We just moved her to the center and I started sleeping in the same room and yep, she fell again. That's just one example, but the other two were a big no as well. I am also very upset with her hospice nurse, who was coming twice a week and met with me beforehand, for not discussing with me the responsibilities I would have as her caregiver. I am not a mother, I'm not used to taking care of someone like that. She should have at least suggested I do some research as I was clearly clueless. I would suggest to anyone, including hospice nurses, who knows someone taking on a caregiver role to send them this video.

I have Tracheobronchomalacia TBM. My trachea collapsed when I got Delta variant Covid in 2021. I know it's terminal can you tell me if you ever had a patient with TBM. If you have will you please let me know how the end of life is with TBM? Thank you for everything you do.

Just want to remind you about the most most important decision we need to make before we die, and that is to receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior. I just wanted to let you know a little about what the bible says. It takes more than just believing in God. John 3:3 says, we must be Born Again to get to heaven before our time is up.. Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's glorious standard, and all need to be made right with God by his grace, which is a free gift. We need to be made free from sin through Jesus Christ. Bible also says, its not by works should any one boast. So being a good person does not get you to heaven either. The only way to heaven is by repenting of your sins, which means a change of mind, and putting your faith and trust in Jesus. Romans 10:13 says, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. So you see, there is a need for salvation to get to heaven. That is why Jesus died on the cross. He took all of our sins upon him, so that if you accept Him as your Lord and Savior, you can have eternal life in paradise. You do not get there being a good person, or doing good deeds. Many people believe that is all it takes. Jesus also says, that I am the way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes unto the father, except through me. So please make that decision, so that you can have peace and comfort before your time is up. Its the most important decision of your life. You can then have that peace and assurance of salvation in your heart. All you have to do is humble your heart and pray with faith,... "I repent of my sins, and I turn to You. You said in Your word that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. I ask You Jesus to forgive me of all my sins, come into my heart, and take control of my life. From this day forward I want to live for you. ..... It's not about the words, it's about your heart. The Lord will then send His Holy Spirit to live on the inside of you. The Holy Spirit is Gods seal of salvation, and your evidence you have been Born Again. He will transform your heart and mind. He will bring you into a personal relationship with Jesus. You will become a new person inside. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new”. Its truly amazing! You will be filled with peace, love, and joy of the Lord inside you. All the fruits of the Holy Spirit. He will comfort you in your time of need, and give you the strength to endure. No matter what you are going through, Jesus wants to help you through it. You can lean on Him. I really need help please. My grandma is living with us and she is under hospice care. She had a uti and ever since then she has been delirious. She is sleep in a never ending hallucination nightmare. She calls out for her dead sisters and she is saying they are killing her. You can understand only maybe half of what she's saying. She's had week of antibiotics and hospice doesn't want to prescribe her anymore antibiotics because they say she is dying. She seems like she suffering. We give pain meds and Ativan around the clock to help. I just want advice on what to do to help stop theses horrible dream hallucinations. Thanks

@@jamecia8550 first of all, I never said all good people go to heaven. I said that just being a good person does not get you into heaven. You must be Born Again. And Overall, Psalm 37:29 conveys a powerful message about the faithfulness and enduring nature of God's promises to the righteous. It speaks to the hope and assurance that believers can find in God's provision and ultimate victory over the forces of evil and wickedness. The verse serves as a source of encouragement and a reminder of the ultimate reward that awaits those who remain faithful to God's ways.
