Hey guys, so as I was watching the video, he didn’t really give the steps full out, if you’re trying to use the Siri command you actually need to go into your settings, into your Bluetooth, and click your (name AirPods) and click Siri for both left and right. Then you double tap any AirPod and then you can actually use the Siri command then it will fully work. 👍🏾

I’m rather new to AirPods, just picked up the AirPods 2 about a month ago and I’m wondering. Is it supposed to be almost inaudible on the lowest volume settings? When I have it on 10% I feel like I can barely hear anything at all yet when it’s on 100% it’s deafening. Is this how they’re supposed to work?

10% is basically the lowest volume setting besides mute (or just 1 block on the volume display). I don’t think anyone would listen to music with that low of a volume. 100% would have your device’s volume to max. To any healthy individual, listening on max volume through earbuds would be very uncomfortable. You can tell siri to turn the volume to anything from 1-100, but those numbers only represent a fraction (%) of your device’s max volume, and not whole numbers

I own the Pros, I find it annoying how the only options are Siri or Noise Cancellation setting, LIke why can't I set the left on to tap once for volume up or tap twice for volume down.

exactly. it's so obvious... it could even be 1x tap for volume up/down and 2x fast-tap for next/previous song and even 3x fast-tap for siri or play/stop or whatever. but no, one of the most common and used functions (Volume up/down) you cant control directly (siri takes too long and cant be used in quiet surroundings). Makes them worthless to me.

Any easy way to control phone call volume if answered with the phone. If I answer it on the watch I can control volume, but if I answer from the phone, it shows I am on a call on the watch but the volume adjust option is gone.

Yes, this has to do with the way "Handoff" is set up. I hope that in the future Apple lets you forward your call to other devices from the iPhone so that you're not stuck to the call being on the iPhone if you Handoff the call to the iPhone at any point during the call.

This was very helpful but when I switch from my iPhone to my iMac with my AirPods, my Apple Watch series 5 didn't work to control the volume. My watch unlocks my computer so I know it is connected. I also had the same situation when on a phone call. iPhone was buried in my pocket, and I was on the call using my AirPods and after the ringing and the auto message, the "hold" music I was calling was LOUD and I tried the watch to scroll the crown and it didn't work. Thanks for any suggestions. btw - I did recently upgrade from series 2 watch to the series 5 so it could easily be a setting, but it works perfectly with iPhone music turning the volume up or down with the scroll of the crown. Does anyone know how to lower the volume of the AirPods while playing the Xbox or PS4? Some how I’m unable to find a way, it’s different from let’s say a blue tooth Sony headphone which has a volume control setting inbuilt. What do you mean "Siri Tap?" Are you talking about the Siri screen that pops up on the iPhone when you talk to Siri through the AirPods? If so, yes, the Siri screen will eventually go away. It will not stay there (like you are suggesting).

Mia-Brigitta Kommer You have to go in your settings, then bluetooth, then the little "i" beside airpods then you can adjust what commands you want your airpods to have. Siri is one of those options. I hope that helps!
