To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. kzbin.infoUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

Great video. It’s a shame that the volume level can only be adjusted on the device. This kind of defeats the purpose of them being Bluetooth if you have to reach for your iPhone/iPad/iMac to control the volume - poor design on Mac’s behalf.

I like everything about them except the volume control. I don’t want to speak to Siri, there is no mute button and it’s very inconvenient on non apple devices. For the exorbitant price of this and all apple products you would think the volume on earbuds would be usable.

Yes it happened with the KZbin videos. But they won’t stay in my ear, after five minutes my right ear buds fall out from ear. I will returned them back, am very disappointed with Apple.

I have run the fit test a bunch and always get “good seal” but they fall out of my ears frequently and get loose in my ears easily with normal movement - walking, chewing, talking or singing, etc. I’ve almost lost them a couple times already and I’ve only had them for a month. I’m at the point of going back to wired ear buds. What am I doing wrong?

You can try going to iPhone settings, then accessibility, then audio/visual, then you can adjust the balance. You’ll need to be wearing them with them turned on when you do this. This option may accomplish what you’re looking for! Good luck!!

Hi, I love your easy to understand and to the point videos so want to first thank you. Now for my question. I am trying to connect my airpods pro to a new panasonic cordless phone (Panasonic KX-TG994 DECT 6.0) but the Panasonic set up insists I enter a pin. I have tried 0000, 1234 and others but nothing works. Is there a pin for the airpods or it not possible to connect the airpod pro to Panasonic phones?

It’s unlikely that they will pair to the cordless phone. If it’s asking for a pin then it’s using an old version of Bluetooth that the AirPods don’t support. Thanks for watching!!

I have these, the Jabra Elite 85t, and the Bose Quiet Comforts and I have to say that these are very cool to use if you have an iPhone. When I get texts I can speak my replies, Siri is always on (which is a little creepy if you think about it) but I’m disappointed that there’s no touch control for the volume like on the Bose QC earbuds. These are a ton of fun to use though.

Just got the Pros. Love the noise cancellation - I was surprised how well it works. I flushed the toilet and I literally didn’t hear it - I had to double check that it flushed. Then when I washed my hands I couldn’t hear the water running. And you can leave the volume quite low when cancellation is on and hear the video just fine.

Useful info thanks. FYI - I just bought a pair of these and they sounded really thin on my iPad Pro, but fine on my iPhone 8 Plus. After chatting to Apple who suggested sending out new pods I found further settings and tailoring under the Accessibility in settings. You can set them up in there, problem solved.

It is probably because of how far the mic is away from your mouth. I’ve seen people take one out, hold it enclosed in your fist so it thinks it’s still in your ear, and place it closer to your mouth. It’s inconvenient and hopefully they fix that but I hope that helps!

I have had these for about a month, and have had multiple issues with them working/not working, so found this video. I have been trying to follow through the video, but the airpods keep disconnecting from my phone.... every 15 seconds or so. I then have to go back to settings and reconnect from the list of Bluetooth devices. Plus, when using them with my phone for Itunes, they do not automatically connect - even though the automatic setting is on. Considering the ridiculous price, this is quite frustrating. They also worked for a while on my laptop, but that seems to have vanished, and are no longer on the Bluetooth list of devices. Are they possibly a pair of lemons? About to run them over with my car.... any suggestions?
