Thank you for your insight, and I believe those techniques work along with Self talk. For example, my therapist taught me to repeat to myself daily self compassion breaks, which goes like this. May I give myself the compassion that I need, may I accept myself as I am, may I learn to accept myself as I am, may I forgive myself, May I be strong and confident, may I be patient with my dysregulation…❤

I love nature walks. The wilderness helps me calm down quickly. My tip for compression try a weighted blanket. For me it feels like a hug. It's niiiice. It feels so peaceful ☮️🕉️

Weird question but if someone were to drown someone in cold water would it activate the vagus nerve too? Or would that be immediate fight/flight, bypassing the vagus nerve?

Walking usually helps for me. Last time I got high on the, I got anxiety with it. I could hear my heart beating and the blood rushing to my head. I just walked it off. Took me 15 minutes for me to feel better.
