Maybe you will believe what they say when you experience living in BGC even for a short time. Lots of bloggers are wanting to visit Manila and the islands because of all the KZbin blogs about the Philippines. I’m from Manila who migrated to the US in year 2000. I’ve been amazed with all these KZbin contents about the Philippines islands which I haven’t been to all my life. Metro Manila had been developed and a lot of infrastructures that it had become beautiful and modernized for the last 20 years I’ve been away. Local and international cuisine are available everywhere now. Lots of new malls, too. Filipinos are speaking English because it is our second language since we use English language in school. It is really cheaper in the Philippines as long as you don’t live in luxury and it is your choice that matters. It is more fun in the Philippines. Lots of recreation. You will not get bored.

The Egyptian medical student finds it expensive in the Philippines maybe because of the tuition fees, medical books, school supplies & tools, etc. I think he was not referring to the basic living expenses like food, clothing & shelter.

True, sometimes even filipino were getting rip off too w/ taxi drivers or tricycle so much more w/ filipinos! So always be aware & be alert for anything u might encounter! Filipinos are nice people , happy & hospitality is above & beyond!

Egyptian men thought it was expensive because of the conversion of currency as of now Philippine Peso (Php) to Egyptian Currency (EGP). 1 Php is equivalent to 0.56 EGP. So if he rented a condo in BGC amounting to Php25,000.00 to that was Egp13,936. So that was quite expensive for him.

The "Egyptian guy" i think is lost. Why study "mefical course" in the Philippines? Am sure, the very first consideration is that THE COST OF EDUCATION - particularly medical & science-related courses ARE MUCH CHEAPER than in your country, Egypt. Andbthe standard of education - particularly in state universities and top-rank universities are at par with other countries. So, i'm confused with his response.
