I'm renting a 1 br apartment in a shady neighborhood with no amenities just outside Los Angeles for $1500 a month. I just bought a condo in a high rise building with great amenities like a basketball court, resort like swimming pools, gym, spa, garden, etc. 4 huge malls within a 5 minute walk. My monthly amortization and condo dues is $375. Just on rent alone I save more than a thousand dollars and my living condition is way way higher than here in the US

You should also try the ferry in Pasig River ,they have station near Guadalupe bridge that's just 5-10mins drive from bgc,you can the glimpse of the Malacanang palace in manila and also the manila esplanade near post office it's like the Venice or Italy inspired during evening it's the start for the bigger project of having esplanades from manila bay to Laguna de bay thanks to bbm

Sir, today is APRIL 11, 2024 @3AM here in the Philippines. We have just finished the Ramadan celebration of our Muslum brothers yestetday. (Philippines recognizes Muslim brothers' faith that's why wr have 2 holidays every year to celebrate ed'l fitr & ed'l adha - sorry if I spell it incorrectly. Am a Catholic by faith. So, Ramadan celebration is over... WHEN ARE YOU TRAVELLING TO THE PHILIIPPINES? It's SUMMERTIME now and we still have the EL NIÑO PHENOMENON... the heat is extreme now in all parts of the Philippines. And because of the hot summer weather... vsiting beaches, rivers and resorts are popular in this period of the year (March to June). Have a safe travel... And, YES, WELCOME TO THE PHILIPPINES!!!

Just so you know Ovela, here in the Philippines we do not use wipes or tissue after pooping. We use either tabo or bidet hose. I guess you will be using the bidet since you will be staying in a hotel or condo.

Just be aware also in finding a girlfriend there because, there are homeless foreigners there in the Philippines that are after their dollars. It's cheaper to leave there but, to get sick, it's really expensive to go to the hospital. It's kinda, poor people don't get proper check up there, the help is limited, not like here in U.S., medical help is a must. To visit there is ok, to live there for good, there are advantages and disadvantages to think about it first. But, if you find a trusted girlfriend there, you're lucky.
