Thank you for valuable tips. Am following your channel religiously and it really helped me to take surgery decision for my spinal stenosis. I got my surgery 4 days back and I immediately felt pain relief after my surgery and I got discharged in two days. Am able to do all my tasks at my own without walker but from one day suddenly I feel a mild pain coming back to my left leg (calf) again. Is it normal ? Especially when three days I felt no old pain at all. Am little scared now If I am getting the pain back or it’s just referred pain from nerve. My surgeon did discectomy + laminectomy for L4-L5. Should I do bed rest more to avoid any secondary herniation ? I was walking and siting normally but slow after my discharge l. If you can advice something, I will really be grateful.

Microdisectomy is not useful if you have major Disc Herniation. It decompress the nerve root but Disc Herniated becomes weak and becomes instable and you may have to remove Disc in future.
