Your Mazda 3 is really cool. And the fact that you owned yours as long as I have owned mine is actually really inspiring. Everytime I drive my Mazda 3 I have to say as a daily it's very fun to drive, it always brings a smile to my face when I get inside. Your right, not like a Toyota or a Honda, those feel pretty boring from the interior design to the way they drive. Whenever I get in one of those they just don't feel right to me, but when I get in my Mazda 3, everything feels right. Whenever she gets me to my destination amd if I have a lil fun along the way I know everything is gonna be alright. Sorry I made two really long comments. I just loved this video like a lot.

My Mazda 3 was is the first car I ever bought brand new. It's been so good to me, anything that I have ever needed to fix was because of my mistake or lack of maintenance. If I was to win the lottery today, I would totally recondition everything and totally turn it into a show car. My M3 is here to stay!!

I have mine for over 10 years, BK hatchback, very reliable, not fast but fun, good daily, knowing it under the hood after the years. The fun fact is, two coleagues separately mentioned, they had mazda3 1gen and was very good if not best car they owned. They moved to bigger because of family. So that emotional attachment is real and i know i will miss it one day. My first car also.

The 2005 Mazda 3 sedan 2.0l is my first car. I've owned her since september 2022 as a beaten up export car. Her motor was good but needed the yearly checkup. Its mostly exterior work. Done her yearly maintainence and she is eager to go. I find her so much fun to drive. Mine isnt slow at all. I used to take driving lessons in a Mini turbo diesel and I must say that my M3 is faster and more responsive on the gaspedal. I hope to own her for a long time to come, as long as I can get her exterior back in full glory cause these M3's sure do love to rust 🙈

As for what makes me keep my Mazda 3? It's been quite reliable, it's pretty economical, and it's fun around the corners (after I swapped wider wheels and a Bilstein suspension kit on it). Not the sexiest car, but it gets me where I need to go.

Had my Mazda 3 2008 2.0 Sedan AT since Nov 2017 and it's been my first. Got it at 131K and it's at 164K currently after 5ish years. I can honestly say after 2 accidents that it had, being told it was a right off, and it STILL lives after being fixed, my girls a survivor and have more of a attachment then ever. So I want to hold onto it for as long as possible too. Have plans to change and personalize stuff this summer. Only issue I have right now is I'm bored, I've yet to own a single other car. When I do tho, I rather keep the Mazda for work commutes and maybe long drives.

The story with your is very similar to the story with mine. I too wrecked mine twice. The first time I was at fault, the second time they were at fault and they to deemed it a total loss and they did give me a check to get it fixed which payed for half the bill lol. I have had mine since 2018 and has been amazing. Bought it at somewhere around 160,000 miles and she's now at 198,000 miles. She's in decent shape with some issues. But there small enough to where I'm in no rush to fix them. I wouldn't advise driving it on longer trips though. Its gets super uncomfortable to drive after awhile. The farthest I had to drive it was an hour away outta town late last year and my back was sore and my legs were sore too. Mind you I'm 23 lol.
@FFGamer077 Жыл бұрын
@@bricegraham8256 I'm 32. So both accidents, car wasn't driving, was parked. Secondly I was NEVER present for any of them. The first one it was a legit accident on Dec 23rd 2020. Lady driving from work to home and her Tie Rod snapped and my rear end got slammed on driver side, couldn't drive it without it rubbing. 2nd one happened at my mechanics shop were he directed a customer out of a docking bay and she swiped the other side and had almost $5K in damages. 1st one only got saved because my guy had felt bad and knew someone who could do repairs for cheap. So far I've driven 3 hours away before, but yes it can get uncomfortable but I take bathroom stops now and then to stretch my legs lol. I also got some rust I need to tackle due to when I was first jacking up the car I never used wooden blocks......yea.

While it’s not my first, second, or even third car, my 2008 Mazda3 GX sedan is the first car I bought new a few months prior to graduating college. I still have it, and because I live in Nova Scotia, it spend almost half the year in the garage. It served me so well that my current winter car is a 2016 Mazda3 GS hatchback. While the newer one has more and nicer features, it still hasn’t created the same attachment as the first one. Part of that may be the time and effort I put into personalizing my 2008.

Mine has been reliable for the most part. Mine however has only left me stranded once. But luckily it left me stranded at the shop I work at. It left me stranded because I had to change out the intake manifold because the old one had a broken chunk in it so it was running super lean to the point of it stalling if I didn't two pedal it at lights. Once I changed it out, I started it up and it was running great but then it started pissing oil out of the oil filter cap. I used the company vehicle to go home cause I had an extra oil filter cap but once I got back to the shop and tried to put it on, it was the wrong one. So my boss had to take me home cause AutoZone didn't have it in stock. So I ordered it the day I had to do my shift at AutoZone, got it noon time on Monday, topped it off with oil, started it up and she ran like a champ. I had to change out the intake manifold runner solinoids cause they went bad and it's been running so much better since I changed those out. The only gripe I have is the the check engine light likes to be intermittent. Sometimes it's on, sometimes it's off, and the code is P2004 Intake manifold runner stuck open bank 1. I don't worry about though cause it usually goes back off at random. It's been wrecked twice by my dumbass sadly and it's on a rebuilt transmission and original engine the 2.3. I love her. I've been contemplating selling it and replacing it with an ND Miata cause I've always wanted those. I do also plan on daily an 06 Town and Country and parking my Mazda 3 to fix all of its smaller problems. But any other time she's given me problems, she's never left me stranded. Even when the transmission decided to take a shitter it still got me home from the other side of town. So all in all I love it. What I don't love is hunting for transmission cooler hoses. Or other parts for it for that matter cause their either never in stock, we don't carry it or I have to order it.

Looking at a 2013 one. I love it even tho the ac needs to be fixed and bumper has the scars of a minor parking lot fender bender. Overall the interior is in pretty decent condition especially in the front, the back of the front passenger seat has a little hole and the pocket is ripped. I plan to take a look at 3-4 other mazda 3's and then i'll decide but so far this is by far my favorite. It has 70k miles, led lights, and touch radio, a small spoiler, blue interior lights, everything else stock. Price after repairs would be around 5500-5800 USD. Would you recommend it?

I'm getting around 600km on 1 tank from my M3 2005 2.0l sedan. You just gotta know when to drive economical. Like dont step on the brakes a lot but rather let her roll without foot on the gas when you get near trafficlights n turns. Anticipate on other cars, try to look ahead so you know whether or not to step the brake. Also, use the good gas. Do your yearly maintainence and stay on top of it. Futher more, treat the M3 kindly....

Most of them this generation do, these cars are getting old now there's a lot of minor reasons they can be burning abit of oil. I just sold mine due to rust burnt a tiny bit of oil since the day I owned it 250 000km, sold it well over 300 000km few years later. Depending on how much oil it's actually burning it could be something as simple as the gaskets in the valve cover. Most of these cars 2.0L burn oil sometimes it's so little it's not even noticeable in-between oil changes. If you got one of these n it's close to 300 000km it probably burns abit of oil.
