I've been living in Vero Beach since July 2016, love it and never plan to move from here. My only gripe is that it is growing too fast and traffic is becoming a bit of a problem. Specially in the Winter months when the Snowbirds come down.

It was "Zero Beach" in 1975. Actually, I am so glad it remains true to itself. Zero was boring when I was a kid, but I am no longer a kid. And that suits me just fine.

I live here. Vero is being overrun, overpopulated, and over polluted. the traffic is getting insane, the cost of living is sky high. there are no good jobs here because its small, service industry jobs cannot pay the bills, average rent is $2K a month and its a right to work for less state. hire at will and fire at will. but if you are loaded? come on down and live behind walls in the gated community.

Where do people fly from? I can't find flights from the regional airport. WPB and Orlando are pretty far.

Hi Steve, great question! So there are very limited flights from Vero's airport. There are more options from Melbourne, FL. And then the next closest will be Orlando, Ft Lauderdale or West Palm. If you are someone that needs easy and frequent access to an airport, it may be a bit tricky. Brightline is not going to be putting a stop in Vero for the foreseeable future either. Hope that's helpful!

I live and work in Vero, so I can really only speak to the area I live and serve. People call us every day asking for infoemation about our area- and we help thwm decide if Vero Beach is or is NOT where they want to be. Its not for everyone, and thats ok! I love living here personally

No, I don't at this time. there's only a small portion of Vero Beach that is buildable west of I 95 as of now, I don't believe they have expanded it much.

I think your review was very negative and unfair. For a small beach town Vero has an elegance and sophistication reminiscent of when more well known towns did years ago. I agree there’s not much of a nightlife but you can always run to Sebastian for bars and clubs. The weather isn’t any more vulnerable than other places in Florida, and we have a beautiful theatre, museum and art galleries. Vero Beach is not a Zero - it’s a Plus! And I’m grateful I chose Vero Beach as my forever home. I’m from NYC and I appreciate this paradise.

Hey there, thank you so much for your feedback. I actually am just trying to provide a pragmatic review of Vero beach because, it's not for everybody. It's definitely for me, I love it here. I enjoy every day of raising my family here... I have this entire KZbin channel devoted to why I love Vero beach . But I do have some people come to my channel who want to understand all of the positives and all of the negatives when making a decision on whether or not they should move here. I'm sorry that you took my video to be so negative but that really was not the intention. I'm so glad to hear that you love Vero and it's your forever home, it really is a paradise to us too!!
